I had the privilege of seeing Boz perform back in 1976 in Minneapolis. He was new to me and I instantly fell in love. I ran out and bought his album, yeah vinyl. And have listened to him ever since. Thank you from the 19 year old you met and for being a part of the soundtrack of my life. Bless that voice and may you find peace Boz. I'm so sorry for the loss of your son.

Aaaahhhh Maggie (& Sage & Neol Below) I’m 56, Probably a bit too Young when this came out to fully appreciate it, But I do remember Boz’s Lively’er Song’s, 70’s 80’s & 90’s Were the Golden Year’s of Music, 20 minutes, 8 hour’s, (Irish Time) 3 day’s and 4 months ago on the 18th of May, Ann, My Beautiful Wife of 30 year’s died from f**k’n cancer, We feel Stone Wall Cracked In Love with each other the moment We met, Ann was 16, I was 18 & a 1/2, Every Firework of a million New Year’s Eve, and a million Star’s in Heaven collided that day, Ann was only 53, I never realized that the pain of Heart Break of being Heartbroken could hurt soooo much, I don’t think the words that could describe it have been invented yet, It’s Boz’s music and more like it keeps me going, to finish raising Our 4 Lovely Son’s (14 to 20) Music today couldn’t Hold a Candle to this, Take Care Maggie Jack Vaughan Tipperary Ireland

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I too am very familiar with heartache that reminds me everyday that it’s still with me! Please hold on to your Faith, Family and Memories! Don’t harbor any kind of ugliness in your heart! Cling to the knowledge that soon we will all be together again with our loved ones! Now make memories with your children and eventually grandchildren ! Maybe you need to listen to more upbeat music or no music, because sometimes the music and memories can way us down! I will pray for you and your family! It’s good to cry in private on occasion, just don’t make a habit of it! Then continue to enjoy the four loves of your life, Gods creation and made with Love!❤️

I met my wife in February of 1977, before this song was even written. We were engaged on 5-27-77 and married on 9-10-77. I met her while she was a cashier at a Regal gas station one cold nite. I saw her eyes, like fire in the night and asked her out right there, after seeing the moon, she was the one.. We did get crazy all night long, many times! The rest is history. We started out poor, me 21 her 20, we have done very well together. We both have had our bout with cancer, she is still fighting her lymphoma and always will at this point. This song could have been written for us. It is our favorite Boz song. Look what you've done to me........

Ms. Carly, it’s been a year since your comment and I hope your health has improved and you’re in remission. You’re not “just” anything: You’re everything to somebody even if their physical presence is no longer visible next to you. The people we love really never do die. They live on in our hearts and souls until our last breath. I became a widow 30 years ago so I’ve had some practice at widow-ing and that’s the lesson I’ve learned. Best wishes, please take care of you: *You matter.*

I met my wife when she was 18 - I was stunned, and said to myself - I'm gonna marry you one day, and I did. After 31 years of joy and passion, she passed, aged 49 from cancer - and that was 8 years ago. I hurt every day - without a lie. I know that some can move on and have another partner, and that's fantastic. I feel for those that have lost children - that's not meant to happen. But I find some comfort in having a few quiet beers, and listening to awesome music like this. Ka Kite All.

From the movie, Urban Cowboy produced and written in just one night for a specific scene. David Foster and Boz Skaggs came up with a real gem in such a short notice that became one of my all time favorite romantic songs. Urban Cowboy is still very relevant in today's relationships and is a must see classic movie. This song has emotional substance and impact that is difficult to match.

I met her when I was 14 and I loved Anne all through high school. After graduation she left me for another. She even invited me to her wedding, knowing that I could not go. But I did go, and sat in my car crying in the distance where I saw the most beautiful golden angel in white walk down the steps of the church, and walk out of my life forever. Years and decades passed and one day, many years later, she did come back to me to tell me she was getting a divorce, and how sorry she was about us. But she had changed and so had I and we were different people. The world had changed and nothing was the same as before and we knew we could not go back. They found her at home, alone, dead of an overdose. As I place flowers on your grave today Anne I hope somehow you know how much I loved you. RIP.
