I saw her eyes, like fire in the night and asked her out right there, after seeing the moon, she was the one.. We did get crazy all night long, many times! The rest is history. We started out poor, me 21 her 20, we have done very well together. We both have had our bout with cancer, she is still fighting her lymphoma and always will at this point. Ms. Carly, it’s been a year since your comment and I hope your health has improved and you’re in remission. You’re not “just” anything: You’re everything to somebody even if their physical presence is no longer visible next to you. The people we love really never do die. They live on in our hearts and souls until our last breath. I became a widow 30 years ago so I’ve had some practice at widow-ing and that’s the lesson I’ve learned. Best wishes, please take care of you: *You matter.*

After 31 years of joy and passion, she passed, aged 49 from cancer - and that was 8 years ago. I hurt every day - without a lie. I know that some can move on and have another partner, and that's fantastic. I feel for those that have lost children - that's not meant to happen. But I find some comfort in having a few quiet beers, and listening to awesome music like this. Ka Kite All.

I met her when I was 14 and I loved Anne all through high school. After graduation she left me for another. She even invited me to her wedding, knowing that I could not go. But I did go, and sat in my car crying in the distance where I saw the most beautiful golden angel in white walk down the steps of the church, and walk out of my life forever. Years and decades passed and one day, many years later, she did come back to me to tell me she was getting a divorce, and how sorry she was about us. But she had changed and so had I and we were different people. The world had changed and nothing was the same as before and we knew we could not go back. They found her at home, alone, dead of an overdose. As I place flowers on your grave today Anne I hope somehow you know how much I loved you. RIP.

I think you're right. You always know it's him because of this distinct smoothness. You believe he's in love with you when you hear him and watch him sing these lyrics. It's in his face and those vocal cords. Not sure I'm comfortable when a guy can make you feel that much with a song.
