Colm is a powerhouse across the registers, honestly. It's only relatively recently that he's started working instruments into his videos (playing all of them! How dare he do so amazingly with both voice and instruments?!?), and for a long while, it has been where he sings three parts on his songs, a high, middle, and low, and he does amazingly with all of them. I love his cover of the Irish folk song Oro, but all in all, it is hard to go wrong with any of his stuff. You 100% need to react to more of Colm's music.

This was SO good! Your absolutely genuine shock and amazement was so fun to watch and the absolute correct reaction to everything this man was doing. I just went on a search tonight to find reaction videos to Colm McGuinness music because he's just so good, and this was the first one I found, I loved it, then I found and watched a bunch more, and then just came back to watch this one again because it was just so fun and I absolutely loved it, what a blast

Colm is a really wonderful singer and musician. I sometimes find the bottom of his range to feel a bit too over-darkened, almost forced... but the man can SING and I do really enjoy hearing him. He has quite a range himself, too. And plays multiple instruments. Overall he's a wonderful musician and vocalist. So glad you finally got around to him.
@embran84862 жыл бұрын
"over-darkened"...not surprising. Even Peter Barber shared when visiting the studio hearing recording by Colm he at first thought it was fake, modulated down. Only when joined later with the man himself Colm showed he does it naturally. Not the best technique to do all the time: blocking his pharyngal space with his tongue as Peter said. But the unblocking free Colm's voice giving him access to go crazy high too. that's why the darkening and release high up sounds both alienating but for sure distinct. And being an emphasized effect it can be too much. Just like Geoff's sub-harmonic notes a bit off-putting in some songs as well.
@upsidedownpyramid76172 жыл бұрын
@@embran8486 I’ve been trying to learn how to do my full extreme low register while making it sound more blended and natural, when I do chest fry or subharmonics they sound a bit too harsh but my chest can only go to about Bb1 at my best, that’s why as more of a bass baritone I am focused on perfecting my growl, chest fry, and subharmonics. I can sing a fat D1 subharmonic but my upper subharmonics sound too forced so my goal is to have a nice sound across the registers.

Waooo!!!....Congratulations my friend Kazandra!! ...You are so pretty!!.... Would you like to reach 16,000 or more subscribers this week?...Well here you have your best gift of your life!!....Today it is very rare to find reactors like you who have never reacted to the best singer in the world, Dimash Kudaibergen, who has 7 octaves and 3 semitones vocal range (An alien) ... Maybe someone made you a request to react to Dimash, but you have not had time .... I am going to dare to recommend that you meet Dimash, because when you do it for the first time, your life as reactor will change forever ....For example, the number of views that you have today, it will increase by 300% in a matter of a few hours and you will get a lot of new subscribers.....But when you react to Dimash, don't do it with his most recent songs ... I recommend that you go to the year 2017 and react to the song that made him a global idol ... I mean the performance he did Dimash from the famous French song called "SOS D'un Terrien en Détresse", when he participated in the famous Chinese reality show The Singer in that year 2017 ... With that performance Dimash earned the reputation of being the best singer on the planet, so I recommend you start with that one.... You can also start with the other famous live version of that song that Dimash did the following year 2018 when he was invited to the famous Slavic Bazzar festival in Belarus .... Both performances are from another planet...And I have to give you a warning: Never react to The World Best videos, because they suck!...Your life will never be the same again, after reacting for the first time to Dimash...And your first reaction to Dimash will be something very special, so I recommend that you do the best job of your life as a reactor, because that first video will be seen by thousands of people around the world, maybe millions...I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Dimash....Here you have the best high quality video of Dimash performing S.O.S. Live 2017.....kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHW7ZHmeot6Bl8U
