He also said that in the song MGK said "Y'all rap, you're not gods" or something like that, but on twitter he said "you just rap, you're not god." So it was the twitter post that really made him react, not the song.

For example, just take this line : "Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze" Meaning if he called Interscope he'd disappear. I remember the tweet MGK put out. He said Eminem's daughter was hot as F. Hailie was underage at the time, and MGK was nearing 30. Then he began literally interviewing off of that. Eminem caught wind of it, he released "Not Alike" off of Kamikaze. (Same album that has "The Ringer") MGK released Rap Devil. Eminem hit him with Killshot so damn hard, he knocked him into punk rock. Haven't seen it in the comments yet, so wanna add the Diddy thing might not be just about MGK's diss. Joe Budden was also contracted with Diddy when Budden was taking shots at Em, and I think there may be one or two others people have pointed out who called out Em, but the common factor was they all worked in some capacity under Diddy, so it could be that Em is acknowledging that Diddy's sending shots through a bunch of proxies and decided to call him out a little more directly. Also at the end where he says, "I'm just playin Diddy, you know I love you." He's said this before. The "I'm just playin XXX, you know I love you" shows up in Kill You, White America, So Much Better, Kick Off Freestyle. He's being sarcastic when he says it. Also if anyone doesn't know, Em isn't the first one to suggest Diddy was responsible for Pac's murder. It's a fairly well known conspiracy theory about what happened, and not implausible even just considering the heat between Bad Boy and Death Row at the time. That makes the line hit harder. That said I only know shit you can read on the internet or watch in KZbin videos (or in a couple peoples' books), so take it with a huge grain of salt.

He did survive it. MGK put out an album Binge which was arguably his worst ever. Then took time off and put out Hotel Diablo, arguably his best album. Has also switched into pop/punk with some awesome tracks. Alot of remixes etc during Corona too.
