This seems to be just representative, it seems to be a discreet expression for carnal union, which wouldn't be a problem considering the lyrics and that the song is a music video as they are an art form, this mv has a unique story and only happens in the mv. A really beautiful one and tells a little story of a couple, which could be heterosexual or any other type of relationship, here as homo feminine but beautiful anyway. I have nothing but praise for this mv, by far the best on hololive along with Watame's best 3D mv that came out a few days ago

This song fits so much with what Marine and Gura are used to singing because they both love doing "City Pop" sounds from the 1970s and 80s. You should also listen to the Marine 3D concert that she did yesterday. She sang two duets with Gura, including this one. It is very much like the concert she did last year where all of the songs were a lot like this one.

They did a great job recreating the 80s synthesizer sound, but for both "Showa" style concerts Marine held, I am sure the sound engineers had a kick out of them. It's a running joke that Marine is of "advanced age", for want of a better word, for the fact that she's well-versed in Showa period popular culture, and Marine ran with it. Obviously, she is far from old and that's what makes it funny.

On the ending: There's a framing device in that scene where it fades out into the bubbles at the end from a small circle in the center of the screen. This small circle in the middle is used throughout the video during all of the scenes when the lyrics mention wanting something but never actually saying it out loud, or actually following through - like Marine taking the ship in the bottle Gura is holding rather than going in for a kiss. I think the ending is meant to show an unrealized moment that both of them each desire but which which ultimately remains nothing but a fantasy of their uninhibited selves - which for Gura is _always_ represented as Gawr taking charge. Given that Marine is the type who's always desperately wanting to have those types of connections to others and frequently has original songs with lyrics that reflect that, while Goomba is *_VERY_* shy and nervous around people she looks up to, I feel like this song is really a perfect culmination of how the two of them feel deep down - not necessarily about each other but also not necessarily not that either. Additionally, there is a REALLY comedic bit of animation by the same team during Marine's 3D Live of the two of them changing from casual into their idol coatumes before singing this live thats worth checking out as well.

Both Gura and Marine are big fans of the City Pop Genre of Music. Stuff like Plastic Love, Ride On Time, so this collab makes a lot of sense. As for the ending, I think Gura "ate" Marine and they woke up in bed together. I feel like its, at the very least partially, meant to be an innuendo.

When i heard she explain about her mv actually she didn't really relate the music with the MV, and the this MV, she really inspired with a movie or there's also an old MV that at the beginning was "oh so cuteeee" "oh so wholesome...." But in the end like "wtf just happened?" it's about an MC that meet a mermaid and become a best friend of life and the MC was always wasting his time at the outside, while the mermaid only stuck at the bathtub... And she hopes she can walk like the maim character there, in the end the mermaid cut to make a leg but she died after that and end, kinda scary but she said really want to do that, she like an MV that want to give some meaning, and yeah there's it is.. And she make it not to dark, If it's hard to find the stream or understand it, there's also some clips of her explaining this mv anyway.

I have just watched the MV and now I see this on my recommended lol. So fast! I love the song and the animation and it was certainly a surprise to see their collab. The ending surprised me, too. I think they're being shipped together in the song and I never thought of that ship (cause one if from JP and one is from EN and I don't really hear of that mix for ships) but hey, they're both water-themed. If I'm not mistaken I think this is a city pop song! Gura likes that genre and if you haven't watched it yet, go check out the clip of Gura singing "Ride on Time" which she sang on her debut. It surprised everyone! I still listen to it from time to time and it's still great!

Let's just appreciate the detail of Gura "eating" Marine, then scene panning to them both sharing the bed Le Naturale, with rose petals around. And MV is finished with "ship sailing" in the bottle. Marine went all out in writing her fanfic with Gura, paying a huge amount for it to be animated and put out for all to see! :P Gotta respect the game. 😅 The whole MV was such perfection, I can't agree enough that it's just the cutest, sweetedt and most wholesome MV I've seen from Hololive so far! Too explain the ending, Gura vored Marine. Then Gura appeared inside her own body, just like how Super Buu appeared inside his own body. But unlike Super Buu, who appeared inside his own body to fight some dudes, Gura appeared inside her own body to experience ecstasy with Marine. Gura then went on to continue to live and explore the world with Marine inside her belly, just like the classic vore comic Red and Wolfette.

Look at the description of the clip. A huge team worked on its creation. The music was recorded by live musicians, and not on a computer, as is done in most songs lately. And the animation was done by a professional studio working on anime production. They created animation in the spirit of old school anime, the era of the 80s and 90s. And Marine from the very beginning had a gorgeous low timbre, which over time she simply learned to control masterfully! Yes, on karaoke streams she often plays dumb and doesn’t hit the notes, but on recordings she sounds perfect. Music in the spirit of classic anime openings and city pop (the so-called genre of Japanese pop music of the 70-80 era) is the direction for which Marine was created. I hope to hear a whole scattering of such nostalgia-inducing hits performed by her!

idk why people are literally thinking Gura ate Marine... like, this is Marine we're talking about, y'know, Treasure Box? You wouldn't say Marine is just trying to open up a box/door lol? The whole video has romantic tones to it. The eating? More or less implies the same as in Treasure Box, and is kind of an artful censorship, like blooming flowers or other such cutaways. In the context of the story, Marine was basically sad but ready to say goodbye to Gura, who ends up reciprocating as her more feral, animalistic side takes over, 'eating' Marine and leaving her with one last memory. Hence why the whole song mentions a flashback at the beginning, the rest of the MV being those memories.

*Day 182* of recommending the *Beyblade openings* . There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. 2:27 Just a little bit of trivia. Not sure if you know this, but there is a bit more symbolism in the video than one would notice at first glance. The act of drinking cocoa/hot chocolate has, for decades if not hundreds of years, had romantic/erotic connotations. It is a symbol of both lust and actual love. It's something that both literally and figuratively makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. As far as I know, it has been especially prevalent in.. Uh... two girl... relationships. One very clear example of use of this theme that automatically springs to my mind is a lovely 1998 Swedish romantic drama called Show Me Love(highly recommend), where the main girls, struggling with their feelings for each other for most of the movie, in the end stop worrying about what the people would say in their rather conservative town, announce their feelings towards each other to the whole school, and go home to "drink cocoa" together. Heck, even among Mayans and Aztecs, cacao seeds were the symbol of love and fertility. Long before we brought them to Europe and made them into the lovely dessert we now all know and love. And then, we have the moment after Gura places Bloop in a bottle next to Marine's ship in a bottle. Moving in. As clear as putting your toothbrush in the bathroom toothbrush cup. Aaand... Note how she literally circles her on the couch. Like a shark, swimming around a lifeboat. The video is filled with hidden and not so hidden added messages. You just have to understand the symbols used.

But yeah if we talk about classic song maybe marine was the most person who really like old pop city song like that, even in her karaoke they always on the list, she's from 90 anyway, and gura.. If we watch her on karoke singing old western song... I really agree with marine, her voice really fit so well.. And it will become a perfect unit when the both of them was mastering singing classic song, and i though it will become a cover song but NO...... It's a fckng original song with full anime animation.. That's so cool.. And this project was held after marine showa song anniversary, so it takes a year for this.. And the results was like what u said, so amazing.. And looks atvthe views 20hour already get 1m views damn 😂
