The Russian military and Wagner have never liked each other nor trusted each other. The Russian military sent the mercenaries into the fight on purpose to see what would happen. Since the military did not like Wagner, the military did not care that the mercs were getting killed. Wagner was happy to try to take the oil field because it was standard practice for Wagner to keep 25% of the profits for any resources they controlled. The Russian military just "forgot" to tell Wagner that the USA actually controlled the oil field and not just the Syrian Defense forces.

It wasn’t taken by the US. The US doesn’t care about Syrian oil field. They were there to help the Syrian Free army battle Isis . The oil field happened to be on the Syrian free army side of the line. Listen to the video. America wasn’t there for the oil.

I agree. The world thinks that the United States takes over or cares about every little oil field in every third world country and actually we don't. These countries beg us for help against the terrorists in their country. We have treaties with their government and a part of the treaty is to help with defense. People call the United States a war mongering imperialist country. But when shite hits them in the face they are quick to want the United States to step in and help. 🇺🇸

Afghanistan offers mutually beneficial cooperation, NOT war, to its neighbors. Worse. If you don't know anything, it's better not to say anything. This is NOT a rebuke. Gather all the information first, NOT just one side. For example, last week, all the world media reported the arrest of 14 Russian tankers in South Korea. Allegedly, these oil tankers are still docked in a South Korean port. And yesterday South Korea itself announced that ONLY 3 tankers entered their port, and then continued their movement to their destination. There was no arrest.
