Jeff was amazing. I first saw him on the movie Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze. He basically played himself as a blind musician playing and singing in a band. Found out he really was blind. He had a form of eye cancer and had to have both eyes removed as a one year old. He had an impressive career but unfortunately died of cancer in I believe his early forties. If I’m wrong I’m sure someone will correct me. His live performance of his song “See the Light “ is fantastic ❤

This song means so much for me, covering all the emotions. This is not the strongest / best version of this song (IMHO), but this song still resonates. I met and fell in love with a wonderful and lovely women who was 15 years my junior. I was 49, she was 34. All of the lines in this song represented me - I couldn't dance or sing (my wife did both brilliantly). We would walk hand in hand and the looks we got from the men always seemed to be saying "How did you get her?". LOL. At this time time this song was me. Then when I turned 60 my lovely wife announced she was not happy or in love with me anymore. Many issues on both side, but I was still rocked by this news because I NEVER saw it coming. Now the song reminds of what I lost and it breaks my heart over and over again. Such is life!

There's no point even thinking of looking elsewhere as l still love him to bits..as you say..such is life..we had a damn good time while it lasted and l think to a certain extent proved the doubters wrong..🇬🇧💕🙏✝️👍❤️
