The best part about Kaleo is that they’re legitimately better live. I would highly recommend going to a concert if you ever get the chance.

Kaleo band members are: Jökull Júlíusson, guitar and Singer. Davíð Antonsson, drums and vocals. Daníel Ægir, Kristjánsson bass. Rubin Pollock, guitar and vocals.

My favorite band! Other great songs of theirs Rock and Roller, No Good, All the Pretty Girls, Skinny, Hey Gringo, Lonely Cowboy. Skinny is the best.

Kaleo is a Hawaiian word meaning "the sound". The band, however is Icelandic! Magic is still real in Iceland. 😁 The singer is Jokull Juliusson, otherwise known as JJ. JJ recently had the privilege of singing a new song, "Lonely Cowboy" at the Grand Ole Opry.

Your next songs should be Way Down We Go and No Good. Another band that I think kind of goes along with Kaleo (although their sound is different so I can't explain why I think this) is Nathaniel Ratliff and the Night Sweats. Maybe both of them are bluesy? Their first song I heard is called SOB and is fun and heartbreaking all at the same time.
