Matt Rife has actually been in a lot of paranormal investigations on the Overnight channel (part of TFIL with Elton Castee and Corey Scherer). He did a big cluster of locations with them before leaving to do more comedy touring, but it rejoining them for a new group of investigations coming out over the next few months. That's actually how I found out about him.

1:04 I collect board games (or did). A few years ago, I bought a vintage Ouija board at a thrift store. Usually when I buy things at thrift stores, I try to clean them up. Using Ronsonal to get the tape and stickers off. I remember that Ouija Board kinda scaring me. I didn't clean it. I just put it at the bottom of a wooden chest. It's still there.

I've played it with my mother and best friend when i was like 11.....it was one of the worst and terrifying things I ever did....my bat shit crazy mom wasn't fazed. First off it said it was a kid... but it was young and couldn't really spell good, so it was mostly yes no questions.....when the lights started turning on and off and doors slamming and then opening slowly I started crying and clutching my friend....it got scarier....

when I was a teen my friends acquired one and were screwing with it all week and started talking to this woman ,on it I went to.the library on a lark to look at books and found the women in an occult book and she was a 19th century spiritualist . Now these kids weren't that clever to set that up so I was really confused and a few days later I was at my best friends house who was a girl and I was dating her friend (we are all native Americans ) who is fairly dark skinned and they were upstairs in the bedroom and I was downstairs watching tv and my GF comes running down the stairs sweating and white as a sheet and she runs out the door in her nighty and I went after her and she looked just craaazy and possessed and so we got her inside , So I was like ok screw this and went and got a lighter and a can of aqua net (it was the 80s lol ) and burned the board to a crisp in the yard . Years later after I had left home we all connected on Facebook and I was talking to my Ex and she said she's Been haunted by ghosts and demonic stuff since that day so take it with a grain of salt but what I witnessed that day all those years ago was very very real .

When I was about 8 I was at a slumber party (old timey sleep over) and someone pulled one out. Everyone else was excited, I sat on the floor next to it, reached to touch the planchet and it shot across this room. I shot the other direction, cowering under the ping pong table, with all my friends saying come do it, I was just WTAF (in 8 year olds terminology). I wouldn't even stay in the same room. Everyone I know who has "played" Ouija has regretted it. It is not a game. I love how he says at the age of 22 he woke up like that, a major glowup. I don't much believe that, lol. I am really enjoying all your different reactions.

I had a buddy in junior high who's older brother pot him a Ouija board for his birthday. He had been playing it with his friends for a couple of months until it started to creep him out he decided to throw it away and the next day when he woke up he was back on the shelf in his bedroom. Day after day he would throw it away and when he woke up it would be right back on his shelf. So he took an axe to it and then threw it away. the next day when he woke up the board was there again. So he took it and threw it in the fireplace and of course the next day the board was there again. He started freaking out and went into full panic mode couldn't go to school couldn't do anything. Turns out his father saw that he threw it away. He then kept putting it back and then kept replacing it when my buddy destroyed it. The only reason that my buddy's dad quit replacing it was because his wife got pissed when she found out he had spent over a $100 on the Ouija boards. Best father ever 😂

I swear on my life this is a true story, 5th grade sleep over ouija board comes out. I had seen Exorcist by that time, I start acting like I'm possessed, rolling my eyes back as far as I can making crazy noises. When my mom came to pick me up she was not amused.
