First time finding your channel. I absolutely love Dan Vasc, so thanks for reacting. Your ear and knowledge for music is evident. I appreciate that. This song was my first introduction to Dan last year, and I was immediately hooked. I'm 61 years old and this is by far the best rendition I've ever heard of Amazing Grace. I hope you'll do more reactions to Dan. Who knows? He may even make a metal fan out of you. (You wouldn't be the first non-metal fan he has converted - LOL). For starters, I would recommend listening to his cover of "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Disney's animated film Mulan, then perhaps his cover of "Music of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera, also his cover of "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher" from the Netflix series The Witcher.

Take a deep dive into Dan. He does it all and very well. He has a 3 octave range. His full baritone sound will make you weep, and his stratospheric screams will give you chills. He does most of the recording and all of the videos himself.

You are correct, he can hit incredible F chords, too. He says his highest note is in Make a Man Out of you- Mulan cover. He is classically trained also - check his Nessum Dorma. For a touch of Broadway- check his Gethsemane. For more metal tones in non metal songs - check O Holy Night or Lady Gagas Poker Face. Black Wind, Fire and Steel has the longest held note you have prob ever heard. He has recently surpassed one million subscribers. I call him the man of a thousand voices - he can sound just like Elvis, or Sabaton, mimic the screams of Jackson in Annie Are You Ok or sound just like Journey or Bon Jovi. You definitely jumped to a conclusion regarding his comfortable vocal range. His “My Mother Told Me” shows his amazing low range. He hits low notes reminiscent of Tuvan Throat Singing. His vocal range is stellar!

He is definitely a baritenor (riding that line between his tessitura being in high baritone and low tenor)... but able to reach WAY up into tenor or down into traditional baritone... very good vocal type to cover nearly anything.

Childhood memories seem to enjoy toying with every person's memories. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find proof of his words of every age mentioned.

Don't worry about sorting out the key/keys he's in. It's been covered dozens of times for the years from other reactors, just enjoy the sounds - for example that he held the last note for 21 seconds. Do yourself a favour and invest in a pair of good quality over the ear headphones. You won't remotely get the proper bass nor highs with simple earbuds.
