Dan sings in his own studio and records the videos in his garage. He has a catalog of more than 200 covers. You just heard a smidgeon of what Dan can do. I found him a little over a year ago with this song and am now a big fan. I have heard everything that he has on KZbin (including ones on other channels). Every time he comes out with a new song, he has given me a new surprise, His breath and control is amazing, not to mention his range. He considers himself a metal singer and that is his real passion but he can do anything.

Dan is the most versatile singer/performer I've ever heard. He sings from all genres and yes, he's classically trained. The vocal gymnastics that Dan can do with his voice, is unbelievable! As you noticed, Dan can jump octaves like nobody's business and that has always amazed me. He has a huge catalogue of songs. To start, I would suggest "Burn Butcher Burn" from the Witcher series and as someone else has suggested, his metal version of "My Heart will go On". Dan is from Brazil and was classically trained. He does sing opera and it is phenomenal. He sings Nessun Dorma by Puccini. However, Dan can sing metal to rock to 80’s to folk to musicals to opera. His Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar is absolutely mind blowing. He doesn’t just sing, he performs. He does it so well I believe he could perform on Broadway. Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera is also superb. Hail VascNation ❤ Also, he sings Hallelujah from Handels Messiah and sings all parts. Basically a 1 man choir. On the screen you see 24 little Dans. Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone. He calls it his insanity piece. It took over 270 takes in order to complete the piece. Just amazing. His channel has well over 200 covers. He does have his own metal band called Fearless.

Yes, you spotted Dan's classical training - his range, phrasing, and breath control are superb. And he obviously has extensive metal training, as well as a gorgeous, powerful, and versatile voice. If you're a Witcher fan, all his Witcher covers are great, especially Burn Butcher Burn. Bring Me to Life, an Evanescence cover, shows off quite a lot of different styles and techniques and will astonish you. And contrary to what many people assume, he doesn't metalize everything - he sings a wide range of genres - yes, ballads too, musical theater, folksongs, 80s covers, movies, classical, and in general anything that appeals to him. You will often be surprised, but you'll never be disappointed. I enjoyed your comments. Subbed, looking forward to more Dan.

Brazil. It's interesting that you picked up on the cathedral song, as well. The song that he modeled this version on, was DONE in a large cathedral...more about that, when you come to another part that I'm betting you will be a bit puzzled about, as well. Aha! The look on your face as Dan pulls out the harmonica and begins to make it sound like bagpipes. Yes...he's operatically trained, AND...he has trained others. Well-said, in your end comments. One thing...Dan is atypical. He doesn't allow himself to be "boxed in." Dan will sing what Dan wants to sing, and make it better than just about anyone else. As for the WAY Dan built this up...for one thing, it is a TRUE story and journey, for him (as it is, for so many). Other than that, the entire format of the presentation is very much based on the song as it was done by another group. I've learned through experience that I can't just type it out here, because you'll never see it, if you know what I mean. However, the group's name means "Divine [Male] Performer." You can check that out (using the song's name). Sadly, it was the last time a certain performer was with the group. In that version of the song, you'll see why there had to be something at least vaguely resembling the bagpipes, and why Dan built in a bit of the cathedral sound. Thank you for your great reaction. A miracle was born. Dan Vasc's success reflects his hard work, dedication and passion for his craft. This boy is a true combination of talent, hard work and determination!!!! She literally becomes the song she sings and draws you into her world. Dan's music absolutely blew me away. He seems to have a very good head on his shoulders and a wonderful sense of humor. A special young man. I never thought I would be listening to metal music at the age of 66. Then he came in! I never thought there would be someone I could "support" after Bon Jovi! Super talent given by God! I read somewhere that it was mocked that he has many fans from the older age group! Maybe we can no longer enjoy quality music? /I hope it's not banned!/ It has a particularly good effect on my heart function! I'm addicted! This boy is an exceptional talent!!! In this particular song he is used directly by the HOLY SPIRIT. EVERY time I hear it I cry and am so moved. And I have listened and shared this many many times. He did exactly what the words have always meant, but no one else captured the depth, the relief, the peace, the feeling of our blessed hope and the victory we have through GOD'S AMAZING GRACE. This song has waited around 300 years to be performed to the max it was originally intended! I'm 64 today. Never been a metal head , but I can listen to anything he does all day long. He literal can and does perform any genre. From this gospel, to old Scottish ballads, opera, show tunes, rock and more. I think the only thing he has not done that I have heard anyway, is country, bluegrass, or rap. This young man does it all production, composing video photography, instrumental and all parts vocal. He is a phenomenon not just a singer. Dan is from Brazil. He is boldly Christian. The harmonica, was his dads. He lost his dad in 2017 to cancer. Within that week, he performed AMERICAN TRILOGY in honor of his dad, who was a big ELVIS fan. Highly intelligent, very hard working, extremely wise. I enjoy hearing him speak on various things. There is more to tell than time to tell here now. To see the heart of this young man, watch LOVE ME TENDER, which he did for ANN and her terminally ill husband. I must go but welcome to DAN NATION!!!
