Nice reaction . I've often heard that many people used to make fun of him. But I think it was just because he's so good! like you said....The king of Rock, The King of Pop...and he is the king of ballads. I've known MB for a long time since How Am I Supposed to Live Without You . To Love Somebody was a Bee Gees cover. He sang many covers. But iconic one .( When a man loves a woman,........ )But he also has a lot of great original songs. And he has written for/with the greatest people in the world. He himself is one of the legends today. No wonder...With this voice, and so many unforgettable songs from rock, pop, soul, opera, comedy...everyone should form their own opinion...but no matter which song you listen to by him. There is no bad one. you definitely missed something...listen to more of MB...and you'll love him

His genre was called adult contemporary. I was at the exact right age to love Michael Bolton! His voice does something to me that no other singers voice ever has except possibly Chris Stapleton! He was made fun of because he covered a lot of songs this one being one of them. But he also wrote some of the songs he covered, but nobody wanted to hear that. Men didn’t like him because women loved him!

Michael Bolton is a fantastic singer and songwriter. There is a lot of strength and passion when he sings. Soulful, heartfelt words. If MB happens to sing a song from an artist sang before, he puts his own twist and sound to it. I believe a lot of musicians do the same thing. Michael has also written songs for other artists. He is great. Do you understand him now? Listen to more and especially his latest album.

How am I supposed to live without you is my favorite! It's a lot more soulful. And personally I think it was men of all races that tried to make Michael look like a joke. The ladies loved him, so I guess they wanted to make him look weak and not manly. Needless to say the ladies still loved him.
