In my humble opinion this is one of the best pop songs ever. Marcella's voice is amazing and Siobhan's voice is the perfect contrast.

The First Lady is Marcella and the other is Siobhan who was in Bananarama. This song was huge in the UK staying at number one for 8 weeks in 1992.

I do like this track and they had several hits ('You're History' and 'I Don't Care') but 'Hello (Turn Your Radio On)' is probably my favourite from them. Siobhan was married to Dave Stewart of Eurythmics for a while - but they're another rabbit hole altogether.

First singer is Marcella Detroit, a trained Opera singer. Second singer is Siobhan Fahay (pronounced: fay-hay). Been a huge fan since one of their first singles "You're History", which is EPIC, in the early 90's. The other singer you mentioned I think must be currently with Siobhan but Marcella Detroit and Siobhan Fehay were the two main singers for decades.

But there's only TWO women singing and in being members this band ;-) Marcella Detroit with the hig voice and Siobhan Fahey (formerly in Bananarama) with the deep voice. However, great reaction! Shakespears Sister were active as a duo from 1989 till 1993, then Siobhan fired Marcella scandalously in public at the 1993 Ivor Novello Awards ceremony and soldiered on solo until 1996 and from 2009 on again. Finally after more than 20 years not speaking to each other they reunited in 2018. I highly recommend their comeback single "All The Queen's Horses" from 2019 🙂
