She thought Bobby Brown was her soul mate and she really needed love. I'm positive she like the rest of us couldn't predict her future with that peice of crap. He groomed her to his advantage. I'm not white I am half Native American and half German. And I'm getting old. The first time I seen Whitney Houston and heard her beautiful voice I fell in love with her. She will always be golden but she and her daughter should still be with us today. I wanted to whip Bobby Brown's ass. I also wanted to give Whitney the longest biggest heartfelt hug in her life. I'm a retired mechanic, and believe this I wanted nothing from Whitney but to save her. She needed love and not leaches sucking the life out of her. The world lost a treasure. The one thing I had always tried to imagine was Whitney and Elvis doing a duet together. That would have broken a all time record ever heard. OkayRickk I love you brother and I remember when you were shadderd from the loss of your wonderful father. I lived in the hood in a time color wasn't a issue. We all were poor but we were the best of friends and shared our lives together. Please stop using the Lord's name in vein because I want you to be back with your Dad and loved one's lost in your life when the Lord calls you home. We are all brothers and sisters. I love you and want the best for you. I'll be always faithful to you and your content. Many times you touched my heart. When I was 11 years old my 16 year old sister was murdered. One and a half year later at 12 years old my father lost his life on his lunch hour in a awful car wreck trying to go back to work. I'm not looking for pitty . Believe me I was devastated and my poor mother and two sisters were equally devastated. I was so full of anger and loss i became a not so nice young man. But my wonderful mother shaved me with the truth. Keep doing your thing and have your emotions seen. That's your good heart showing and it helps others.🙏🙏❤️

I am glad that you call Bobby Brown. The bad word. Because I have always believed that if she never met him. We would still have her today and her daughter

There are varying perspectives on that widely held narrative. Not all agree.

Actually it was her brother Michael who started her on a path to ruin. Bobby Brown gets a bad wrap and its unfair.

She did not want to record it but said it became one of her favorite songs to perform live. And her performance of this at The Freedom Fest concert is one of my favorite live performances of her's.
