Yess. This dance was so smooth and creative. I just love bts dances. Anyways not sure if you want to, but there are some funny dance practises that bts has done. Like baepsae, or go go. And an older one called war of hormone real war version. Must be this version that is good. I mean I've watched the war of hormone one so many times that I just find it nostalgic now. But to someone new I think you can still enjoy it and laugh. 💜

Jimin has contemporary dance training and jk spent some time in America learning how to dance after signing with BigHit. I think they are the only ones with formal dance training. All of them had to train some though just so that they could learn how to move their bodies in sync with each other.

JHope as well. He has had the most # of years professional dance training in comparison to the other members prior to joining BigHit and this was also discussed and mentioned in their Dec 2018 holiday seasons video I believe. He attended the famous music academy in Gwangju his hometown where you get trained in dance, vocals and acting as well. Many well known Kpop idols have attended this school (Seungri, Minzy, Yunho, and many more - you can look it up online if interested:)) besides winning many underground/street dance competition awards and locals awards as well as performing at events with his neuron group, he actually also won first prize national level dance competition awards for South Korea in 2008 and was already well known for it and popular among the trainees (their are articles about ex trainees from back then talking about JHope as well as V mentioning this as well. He also had won a scholarship to attend the best dance academy along with the cash reward but at the time he declined that offer as it is said it was far from his hometown and he wished to continue studying in his hometown Gwangju at the same school that his father is a literature professor at as this was very important to him and so at the time he continued attending and training on dance at the music academy there - he also reveals in his Mama song how his mom had to work several jobs and possibly overseas? Not sure, just so he could attend this school because it is expensive and it was his dream to be a singer and continue with dance. Also, lets not forget he is also given by Mr.Son the official title as the Choreography leader for BTS since debut time which was disclosed later in many interviews and articles by BTS members and Mr.Son. He and Jimin are also mains dancers of BTS. Jung Ho-seok said he started learning dance at age 13 but participated and won competitions since 3rd grade. He also attended elementary school of Arts but only recently revealed to even the members as he was too embarrassed since he he says it's because he is horrible at drawing. Jimin said he learned (official/professional level training) at age 16 and prior to that did Kendo. He has been trained in modern hiphop, popping and a bit of street dancing as well as traditional style - pre contemporary dance training. He is also known as the Acrobat of BTS as referred to by Mr.Son.☺️ We have all watched his amazing flips and tumbles, crazy level of flexibility and core strength *cough* Abs🔥. Technically it is said that only J-HOPE and Jimin had any dance training and credentials of that level pre BigHit. While, Jungkook received official dance training only after being in contact with bighit and them suggesting for him to go to the states to get the training so he can emote and express his emotions via dancing which at the time it is said that he lacked but of course he was a natural dancer even then and had the basics and was aware what looked good and how to make it look good, we also know he is the king of imitations and impersonations. So he is constantly learning and picking up different dance styles from each member just by watching them and imitate their dance - if you notice interviews, broadcasts, behind the scenes or any BTS videos then you will notice his trying to copy or imitate the step while at the same time a member is performing, while he is in the corner already practising and observing every detail. Most of the time he just does it out of habit and I've seen this often esp with JHope and Jimin's dancing - it's endearing and refreshing :) He is also great at breakdancing. I know Suga did bboying pre BTS debut but stopped after his accident and shoulder injury and said he just lost practice since then on - I'm sure one day he will surprise us all. V is a great dancer too and he had grown a lot as a dancer and you can see from debut time till now, he was added into the dance line last year - well deserved👏. However, idk for sure if Suga and him actually received any formal training prior to signing contract with BigHit entertainment. Jin & RM haven't received any dance training pre BigHit, so I'm always amazed and proud how far they have come as dancers. They are truly incredibly talented, hardworking and stunning. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 ☮️

thank you for the reaction! Completely understandable, I'm just glad you guys gave your thoughts at the end. They really are great dancers and work really hard. It's really impressive that RM, Suga, and Jin can keep such great pace with the others when they don't come from a dance background. I actually recently watched a few reactions to their dance practices from a long time dance instructor that does some complex choreography himself and it took him a while to spot JHope and Jimin (he knew from people telling him that 2 had extensive dance backgrounds) but he said if he hadn't been told prior to be on the look out he wouldn't have picked them out on his own. Because they all were dancers to him, even though some might move more fluid in some parts other members had power in their movements or danced really clean. He praised RM's dancing on a few and said he would have never guessed he was a rapper and not " a dancer" because he did a fantastic job. So to me all these guys are dancers now, even Jin who had the most trouble in the early years but you couldn't tell that now. Hey BTS just went to the Grammy's. First Korean artists to not only be invited but to present an award and be nominated (for best recording package for their album Love Yourself: Tear). They looked like they had the time of their lives. Suga had said in an interview that it was a goal/dream to go to the Grammy's and I've never seen him smile as much at one time being there, he was super happy. They presented Best R&B album award to H.E.R. which was an honor because they are big fans especially V, he was grinning ear to ear singing his heart out at H.E.R. performance. Yeah I didn't know til a friend told me that because they got nominated for a Grammy that Walmart is selling 2 of their albums Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer in stores currently. I had digital downloads of some of their songs but I didn't really have an excuse anymore not to pick one up or both.
