It's lovely to see new people discover Dimash but please please look at some of his newer stuff beyond 2021? Some of his more vocal fans will ask for the same old songs again and again giving the impression that Dimash is a one trick pony which he's not. Take a look instead at When I've Got You, Fly Away, Zhalyn, Smoke and Be With Me (MV) you'll be amazed at the different music he produces. And beautiful no vocal acrobatic ballads like Omir, Grateful to Fate and the duet he did with opera maestro Placido Domingo.

I have been following Dimash for nearly 8 years from here in the UK 🇬🇧. Yes, he is extremely humble and unites the world with his music. At his last concerts he had people travel from nearly 70-80 countries! This weekend he is doing 2 concerts - one in Prague & one in Düsseldorf. In addition to that: Dimash - ‘The People’s Artist of Kazakhstan’ during 2024: * Has been appointed the ‘United Nations IOM Goodwill Ambassador’ for Asia * Has been appointed ‘Goodwill Ambassador for the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions’ * Has met with/performed for fourteen Presidents and Heads of State * Had a meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations For me, it is so good to know that an artist who advocates so strongly for peace is being heard by these leaders.

One of my favourite songs from Dimash. Although Dimash often uses musicians he knows, in this performance both the pianist and guitarist were from the band A-Studio who wrote and originally performed this song. The lead singer tragically died too young, so Dimash’s performance reintroduced this song to more people. Cheers!

For those who like information about Dimas' songs: Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash. Hugs from Brazil! He is a humanitarian and all the flowers from the shows go to local elderly homes. He works hard to build love on the planet. Igor Krutoy was in the audience and from here he came out of retirement to work with Dimash. He is the pianist in most of his other performances. Dimash took a master class in Broadway Musicals in 2009. He received a degree in classical music (vocal) in 2014, a degree in contemporary music (vocal) 2018. He received is masters in composition in June of 2020, and is currently working on his doctorate in musicology

This is a great time to introduce you to Igor Krutoy. The man in the white shirt at the end of the performance that stood up is Igor Krutoy "Maestro Igor Krutoy a conductor, composer. Performer, musician, musicologist, and Music teacher" Krutoy is an entertainment icon across the former Soviet Union with a net worth Forbes estimates at upwards of $13 billion. He had retired when he heard of Dimash and came to see him perform Sinful Passion. After the performance Igor met Dimash and said I will come out of retirement just to write, compose and play for you. This became the start of the best in the world.

Not all of his songs have these type of vocal gymnastics. While these are amazing, his simpler songs are so beautiful because of his ability to emote, his dynamics and tone. Diese Band hat das Lied geschrieben und der Mann am Keyboard ist der Komponist und auch Sänger des Liedes. Allerdings weiß ich nicht, wann der Song geschrieben wurde, ich denke aber er müsste über 20 Jahre alt sein, wenn man den Originalsong hört und deren Gesichter. Aber was für ein Unterschied zwischen beiden Songs. Ich würde dir raten, das du nach Ende des Songs mal zuhörst, falls du Untertitel dafür hast, was Dimash da sagt, wie er sich bei der Band , vor allem aber bei dem Komponisten am Piano bedankt. Falls du mal bei älteren Songs von 2017 der Chinesen Gesangswettbewerb keine Untertitel auf englisch finden solltest, suche mal den Kanal von Gloria Wu auf, sie hat nämlich die ersten Jahre all seine Texte ins englische übersetzt. Tipp für dich auch ein toller Sänger : Gabriel Henrique, Marcelitto Pomoy und der Song von 3 Männern und 1 Frau : One Sweet Day, Original von 1993 von Boyz II Men und Mariah Carey. Du wirst begeistert sein, falls du den Originalsong nicht kennen solltest, bist ja noch ziemlich jung, dann rate ich dir vorab mal das Original anzuhören. Ansonsten solltest du mal Live Konzert Titel anhören, das ist einfach unfassbar was Dimash da 2,5 Stunden leistet. Nochmals beste Grüße aus der Schweiz 🇨🇭. Die 1000 Abonnenten hast du noch vor 1. I love this song. Favorite parts are that soft projected whisper, the high solo, and the amazing vibrating trill. ❤ The fans rushing the stage with flowers always makes me smile too.😂😂 Dimash used to donate his flowers to hospitals and old age homes before the logistics made that impossible. So after they started working together they wrote composed and performed together "Love is Like A Dream" "Your Love" "Stranger" "Ave Maria" just to name a few songs they produced.

A bit more detail, as I understand the record, follows. (What I write isn't at all authoritative. It's just what I think is true based on reading and investigating lots of sources over the last couple of years.) "Love is Like A Dream" is credited as having been composed last century by Igor and Valeria Gorbacheva (I think the latter wrote the lyrics), and was first sung by Alla Pugacheva, in the 1980s iirc. A few years ago it was rearranged by Igor and Dimash to create Dimash's cover of it; this version and Dimash's performances of it were sufficiently different, not to mention utterly glorious, that one could argue that Dimash all but resurrected and "owned" it. "Your Love" was credited as having been composed by Igor, and Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics. I daresay she and Igor may have reworked the composition somewhat as part of her contribution. As I understand it Dimash was not involved in the song's creation, but, again, he often alters songs he covers, and in this case the song was specifically created with Dimash in mind as the performer -- the spirit of the song's creation was as a gift given by Igor and Lara to Dimash. "Stranger" was composed by Igor, with lyrics by an american lyricist friend of Igor's. It was created specifically for Dimash, and Dimash altered some aspects of the song when he began to work on it, making at least two notable changes. First, it was his idea to showcase the Kobyz, and his friend, one of the world's best Kobyz players, playing it. Second, I think there was originally a second verse but Dimash decided to replace it with the pure vocalize he has always performed it with. Dimash asked Igor to compose a vocalize "Ave Maria". Igor spent 3 days exploring options on a piano at home before arriving at the composition/melody/arrangement we hear. Dimash did not alter anything; he just performed it exactly as Igor proposed.

This is a cover of Sinful Passion originally by A´Studio. The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters. 6:35 the greeting/farewell to the spirits inherited from Turkic/Tengrenist traditions in certain muslim tribes in the ancient Turan to pay homage to the ancestors and spirits of nature. In Spanish I know it as "hammering vibrato" or "glottal vibrato". In Iran I heard they call it "che-che".
