I'm Belgian and was born in 1995. I grew up with the musical, my mum went to see them in Brussels when I was 3 and literally everyone knows this song. Start to sing it anywhere, and people will sing with you, even 24 years after the song was released and the start of the tour of "Notre Dame de Paris". I know every single song, I watched the VHS so many times that we weren't able to watch or listen the first and last ten minutes anymore. Now I have the blue ray, the CD, the numeric version and even books about it. I'm literally just back home after a concert of Garou (which is why I found your video) and he sing it every time. They all lived together for a least a year, more for some of them, and now they are still close friends, all seven of them, which is why you see so much chemistry between them. It's probably a cultural thing, but all generations knows it, and even the younger ones know at least this emblematic song. Thank you for the video, I hope to see more french songs !

I've seen Patrick en concert some 10 years ago and he was fab. What a voice. J'y vais.... 2020 still successfull.... Patrick was reprensenting France in 1993 Eurovision for France and then dissappeared to reappear with that one, it put him back on the map for good. Ever since he's been really succesfull. Garou disappeared a bit from the charts, but had big success as well, besides being utterly sexy. He had a nice duet with Celine Dion - Sous Le Vent. Daniel Lavoie is from Manitoba in Canada and Patrick Fiori is a French from France. Three beautiful French speaking voices gathered on the same stage.
