A legend... Johnny Hallyday was born on Tuesday, June 15, 1943, in Paris and passed away on the night of December 5 to 6, 2017, in Paris at the age of 74. Johnny a eu son fils jeune et il n'était pas près à être père. Il a été un père absent pour son fils David. C'est son fils que l'on voit d'ailleurs à la fin avec lui. La chanson raconte cela. Ils ont grandi ensemble. Il y a un jeu de mot : "On se ressemble sang pour sang" qui se prononce pareil en français que "On se ressemble 100 %" 😉

Well your second analysis is the right one: singing from a father’s perspective. He and his son David were estranged at some point but eventually made amends, and had a better relationship after that. This song was actually written by David himself, he’s the younger guy featuring in the video. “Now that we are face to face, we are 100% alike” (play on words between blood for blood and 100% which sound alike in French).
