You should check out their full catalogue of over 60 songs covering all genres of metal and rock including ballads, I think through my own personal experience you'd be surprised and in awe of just how much talent this band has. But beware once bitten forever smitten!

The opening song to the show and a F banger at that! Love Thunder Vengeance just metal AF. Glad you like Asami's vocals more, if I recall correctly, you weren't completely sold on her in your 1st reaction. She has a booming voice and if you continue this rabbit hole, you'll see. All are insanely talented and the bassist in this video, left the band in 2021. Fami, 20yr old is their new bassist and is insanely talented. You should certainly try one of their newer MVs with Fami, Judgement Day or the latest Stand And Deliver. They are LOVEBITES 2.0 and absolutely firing on all cylinders. Note: Stand And Deliver MV has them out of uniform in plain clothes, and a really fun video if that suits you. Thank you for coming back to them! 🤘

Thanks for the reaction. This was the opening song of the concert. The crew were probably still working out the butterflies in the stomach. 😄 They got a little looser as the concert went on, but Lovebites' don't usually run around the stage that much except for Asami the vocalist, and Midori will get more expressive. Check out some of their ballads where Asami's voice is more relaxed, may or may not be more your cup of tea - Empty Daydream, Edge of the World, Frozen Serenade, and Epilogue.

Yes, they do rock. But this song is almost kinda simplistic in comparison to their most recent thrasher Dissonance. That should tell you all about their technical skills.

This first song as they settle in for a 2 hour blistering assault. " Raise Some Hell ", a fun rocker and "Swan Song w/ Chopin intro" , will give and idea of the talent and power of these girls. Best metal performers on the planet , hands down. Move over guys, these girls are coming thru with a new album and international tours and festivals.

Nice reaction. Asami's vocals in the thrash songs like this aren't nearly as angelic and melodic as they were in Glory to the World or some of their other songs. Miyako (the guitarist with the black hair) is literally a musical genius and one of the greatest guitarists to have emerged on the music scene. She is the Messiah of music - hand picked by God. It will literally be centuries before another one like her comes along

Thunder Vengeance! Yes! That's how you open a show! Great reaction. Few things: You mention the wolves at the beginning. Each one stands for a member of the band and the fans are the Wolf Pack. They're dressed in white like that because when Miho (bassist) and Haruna (drummer) founded the band, they wanted to show that metal did not have to be all black leather and dark lyrics, so they only wear white (up until now) and only write positive lyrics. Plus, they are breaking the heavily male-dominated genre. Also, regarding the energy, both these shows from which most live videos come (2020 and 2021) were under strict Covid protocols. I think both required masks, distancing, and some restrictions on shouting (?). Given that, there's still good energy from the crowd, but the rules did restrain them for these two shows. You said you like breakdowns. Try "Breaking the Wall" also live from Zepp 2020. Great breakdown and solos. You mention that the guitarist stage left is so talented. That's Miyako. You have no idea how talented she really is. Check out "Swan Song" (with the Chopin intro). It's a masterpeice and absolutely unbelievable. Finally, you mentioned Asami's vocals. She's got an R&B background, and didn't even know what metal was until she joined Lovebites. I highly recommend something like "Empty Daydream" from 2019, to hear another side of her, and some fantastic vocal harmonies, in a song that's a bit more 80s rock than metal. Could also check out "Edge fo the World." They're the greatest metal band in the world, in my opinion. So, so talented.

This was the first video I listened to of Lovebites and was hooked before the intro even ended and then was in Rock heaven when they began playing. For me, this song will have that special meaning to my intro into the world of Lovebites.

This band really excels when live. Since I discovered them 2 years ago there's hardly been a day when I haven't listened to them. As you said they are so talented but you've not seen the extent of that talent yet. You need to check out Swansong from this concert and Frozen Serenade from their 2021 show to get a hint of their capabilities. As for movement you need to consider that this was their opening song of a near 2 hour show so keeping energy for the rest might be a consideration. Also the guitarists have a pedal foot board each with switches for various effects so I guess that at times they need to be at that location. TBH these solos are relatively mild for these ladies. Check out set the world on fire, or one of their newer tracks Soldier Stands in Solidarity. Both extremely fast thrash with absolutely insanely fast solos. Great first reaction!

If you like to see another all-female "bad ass" band from Japan, please, check "Nemophila". My favorite songs by them are "Adabana" and "Seize the Faith", but really you could check any song by them! There is no bad one! Yes, all Japanese bands doing live playing even better then in studio, and I love them for that!
