A new "LOVEBITES EP II" will be released on August 28, 2024.
The limited edition A comes with the "RE-LOVEBITES EP," a 4-song CD re-recorded from ‘THE LOVEBITES EP’ with the current lineup. (*The English version of "Bravehearted" is used.) The B and C come with a Blu-ray and DVD, respectively, consisting of a music video of the lead track and a making-of video showing the filming of the music video.

Lovebitesって技術面が結構話題に上がるけど、それ以上の音がいいと思う。リードパートをカヴァーするベースの低音もそうだし、ドラムのフィルの音の粒だって全てが混じり合って邪魔していない。ギターリフも、リードもサウンドがめちゃくちゃいい。そしてボーカルの声もキンキンした高音じゃなくて、広い声質だから素晴らしいエッセンスになってる。 凄いバンドは山程いても、ここまで音にこだわり抜いたバンドは少ない。Lovebitesが評価されている理由が凄くわかる。めちゃめちゃ音楽に向き合っているからこそ、ここまで来れたんだなって実感できました!

ラブバイツの凄いところはゴリゴリのパワーメタルもあるけれどポップな曲とバラードも素晴らしいのですよ。こんな多様性のあるバンドは他に無いと思いますね、それが彼女らの魅力です。彼女らの楽曲はほとんど平均以上で駄作はほぼ有りません。これがまた凄いところ、凄いバンドが日本から生まれたと確信しています。

東京ガーデンで初めて見たUnchanged。元々Live向けの曲だが、直前のreleaseにもかかわらず、会場はBe free Be free anywhere you wantで大合唱。この曲もtwin guiterが美しく、ノリノリな爽快感がすばらしい。

I don't even want to engage in any discussion about which is the best metal band in the world. Naturally, that's a matter of personal taste and there are many great bands out there. Matter of fact is: So far I have loved every song and video I've heard and seen from Lovebites. There are so many wonderful details in their music - vocals, guitars, bass, drumming - that it's impossible to take it all in at once. I've listened to many of their songs 30, 40 times or more, and still find something here and there that I hadn't noticed before, and to me, THAT makes this music so rich and so fantastic to listen to. Besides, all these ladies are REALLY good at what they do, and that's something I cherish, no matter if the genre is classical music, jazz, rock or metal.

@@maki-metal69I agree 100%. There is a HUGE difference between hearing a Lovebites' song and listening to a Lovenbites' song. I've listened to them for two years, mostly in my car, and I hear something new almost every time if I'm actually listening. The other day I heard a few measures of the bass line in "Glory to the World" that I hadn't noticed before---and I'd heard that song dozens of times. Miho was a a tremendous bass player and I miss her; but thank the gods Fami is some sort of musical savant. Like Miyako. Maybe more android that human :)

"Unchained" is just one of them. That's all. Everyone has different tastes, that can't be helped. But I think it's shallow to worry about their future just because of this song.🤔 FYI, Miyako says that she worked hard on creating "Unchained." She doesn't cut corners about the music. Lovebites EP2、というタイトルだけに、原点回帰的な雰囲気。昨年の大復活Ｊアルバムがゴリゴリのメタルで、直前までの欧英ツアーもメタル色が強かったけど、ここにきてのドンバイ風味（ＰＶアングル含めて）のハードロック調をなげてくるかー、してやられたー、って感じですね。 公開から１時間弱、すでに10回くらいリピってみたけど、やっぱMYKの曲は飽きないわ。MYKは衣装も過去最高にカッコいい。ファミのカイリセインか徐倫かっていう髪型も似合ってるね。ドリ姐も楽しそうだし、アサミはぴょんぴょんしてるし、バンドの雰囲気が良さそうなのが伝わってくるね。

Yes, that sounds familiar 🤔 My heavy metal days were in the 1980's (6 years / full-time), back then I also adored the Japanese band LOUDNESS and almost 40 years later LOVEBITES are bringing my old love back to life (I love their contrast). I saw them live in concert (Germany) and they were fantastic, it took a little longer to process this incredible experience 🤩

Lovebites は基本的にライブでやる前提で曲を作っている ので、スタジオ版はこれでもミニマムにしてると思います。と言う事は！ライブで何倍も凄くなる事間違い無しですね！Asami はいつも「Lovebites はいつも、最新が最高、そうだよね？」ってオーディエンスに念押してますね。「まさか疲れて無いよねえ？」ってオーディエンスに言うセリフもまた聞きた いです。❤

First time listen I thought good song, second time listen with ear buds, really good song, Fami bass sound great and the drumming is on point, the guitars have a epic tone, nice and chunky and a little dirty, Asami killing vocals again, 👍 for me. I really enjoy the diversity of this band, not just thrash or power but some enjoyable hard rock with a catchy chorus, there is a plethora of great music written over the years why not use those influences to create even better music. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Trivia: This is Lovebites 7th shortest song. Edit: It's actually the 6th shortest song when listening on spotify without the videos intro and outro at 4:17 seconds, right between M.D.O. and Mastermind 01. This is more of a hard rock anthem song like Don't Bite The Dust, No Time to Hesitate and Raise Some Hell. While does aren't my favorite this one works really well, and will be sure to pump the audicene. I'm on my third re-watch of the video, and it get better and better for each listening. I think this is a grower for me.
