Great reaction, you got my list your last Sabaton reaction, that was just a few, there are over 120 history lessons with good music and a nice short kessin on their history channel, both are packed with names, dates, actions... through the history, from Spartans and forward...

There's so many songs & everyone a history lesson in itself. There's plenty to aim at, the likes of:- Christmas truce, Bismarck, Primo Victoria, to name a few of the most popular ones. However there's so many that are rarely covered by Reactionaries, such as:- Hearts of Iron, Ghost in the trenches, Ace's in Exile, but as I say there's plenty..

I love every single Sabaton song. I can't tell if any of them is NOT worth reacting to. I am just throwing out a wild card here, the song "Stormtroopers".

You know your American history, this song is about the siege of Bastogne in Belgium when men from the US 101st Airborne Division (the Screaming Eagles) were sent there in 1944 to defend it from approaching Nazi troops. With the town surrounded and cut off from supplies, they fought for seven days in bitter cold digging foxholes before reinforcements arrived. Great song from the swedish band Sabaton, they always tell stories from our past based on facts, and they are masters of storytelling. Its almost impossible to recommend only one Sabaton song, they are all so good with a important message so I'd say, next time check out the Sabaton song Great War.

I wish I could have a chance to talk to one of the men who were there. The Germans passed by the city assuming they would surrender when surrounded. Little did they know the US just tossed the most stubborn sob of the European theater into the town. On top of that regardless of what they thought of Americans. All the other soldiers in town regardless of job or experience turned into a pain in the ass. An absolutely amazing story. Might be the 2nd biggest middle finger the US military has put up beside the defense of fort Henry during the war of 1812. No offense to the lost battalion which is another song of theirs you should check out and a movie.

War metal? Nah it's heavy/power metal just cause they sing about battles and heroes it doesn't make it war metal that way almost every band should have their own genre

Hardcore Sabaton fan here whos been a hard rocker since childhood in the early seventies. Bands like Sabbath, Kiss, AC/DC and Sweet got me hooked. Metal is Metal in my book.. I usually call just it hard rock. The first time I even heard the term heavy metal was in the 80s when a friend of mine hade decided that Saxon was the only true Heavy metal band. I didnt get why he needed to define one band as a specific type of hard rock, still dont really. If its good, its good.. :)
