The first time Tina performed in Europe, Princess Stephanie of Monaco, who was hosting the program, came out on stage and said,"Ladies and gentlemen, we have just witnessed the birth of a diva." She was right. Tina has gone on to dominate European charts for thirty years.

I met her 9 years ago for a book signing and she was lovely. . Chains is from her 3rd album Don't Ask. Her first was recorded and released when she was a child (and a member of the Young Talent Team). Tina grew up (as did many viewers watching) on Young Talent Time. She is so an ARIA Hall of Fame inductee. Church is her most recent single.

Omg thank you so much!!! Please more Tina! She has an incredible talent! it can go very very high or very low, in short, it can do anything, really !! I don't even know what to suggest! maybe this one live Arias 2015 with 3 other artists, the ones you mentioned (she's amazing, and sexy) or "i need your body" or "je m'appelle Baghdad" she sings a lot in French too. she still has this voice, (we can talk about several voices I don't know 😂), since she was 7 years old she has been singing, for 9 years she has been doing "the young talent Time"

They tried to break Tina in the US market in the 90s with versons of "Show me Heaven" and "i want to know what love is" unfortunately she didnt take off.. She was in the US and sung with Donna Summer. She did get to duet with Marc Anthony for the title song from the movie Zorro. The song"I want to spend my time loving you". Now thats worth a reaction!!!

She actually had much more success across the globe but never hit it big in the United States. She’s got a fantastic body of work with any number of songs to choose from. When Donna Summer had her VH1 concert Tina joined her on stage to take Barbra’s place for enough is enough. I remember when her very first album was being released here and they were trying to promote her and billboard magazine described her as a cross between Celine and Olivia Newton-John partly because she’s Australian but she has a lot of those high tones like Olivia

Tina Arena never really broke being in the shadow of Celine and Lara... but Australia's best vocalist for a long time. The whole album Don't Ask is brilliant, imo her best, Sorrento Moon is worth a take, so Heaven Help My Heard and Wasn't It Good. She did her take on Show Me Heaven, but I prefer the original sung by Maria McKee, a brilliant ballad. Tina shifted into dance pop in the early 2000 with not that much of a success though brilliantly produced. Simoultanously she started a french language carreer which was actually more consistant with many big hits in french. Brillant... she actually moved to France at one point, married a french, became a mother but moved back to Australia some 10 years ago... notable French language hits: Aller Plus Haut, Aimer Jusqu'à impossible, Je m'appelle Bagdad, Les Trois Cloches, Tu es toujours là.... later on she did record some brilliant cover albums Songs Of Love And Loss 1 and 2. Absolutely stunning versions. She did stage musicals. Very talented singer.
