What the heck are you talking about? She's one of our highest selling artists, she has 7 ARIA awards, inducted into the ARIA hall of fame, and is a Member of the Order of Australia for her significant contribution to the Australian music industry. Our own government also appointed her for 3 years as a board member on the Australia Council for Arts. And that's just the tip of the iceberg of our love for her down under. Underrated here in Australia? In which reality?

Jessica Mauboy is an amazing talent. I suggest a movie called The Sapphires. It’s based on a true story… but she has done so much. I actually live in the suburb next to where Jess grew up. I’ve seen Jess at the local shops with her friends… she is a regular girl with an awesome voice. A real talent.

I remember Tina when she first started out. She has only gotten better as the years have past and I think her best is still to come. The Veronica's are modern day legends and Jessica is one of our greatest with the world at her feet. It's so incredibly sweet seeing these kids belt the song out with what would have been such a huge idol of theirs. You can see it on their faces, particularly the moment just as Tina Arena gets to the bottom of the stairs. Goosebumps.

What a voice Tina Arena has! Who remembers this voice when she was about 9 years old on Young Talent Time? From the start we knew she would be a star. Chains is up there with Reset all and also "The flame" which she performed at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.

When I was a young fella{ born in 1972} . There was a show called Young Talent Time. They had a lot of prodigies. They would sing a song each but 2 girls, Tina Arena and Danni Minogue were always on stage and they 2 of the younger stars. They would do the bulk of the work and you could tell there was something special about those two.
