Randy Bachmans brother had a stutter, so he recorded this to send to his brother as a joke. He never intended it to be released, to him it was just a joke. When the group had 8 songs for the Not Fragile album the record company said they didn't hear a radio hit they asked is they had anything else. They told Randy to play this song and when they heard it they said that is a hit and sure enough it went to #1.
