Hello, God bless you, Dimash is not only a great artist with a beautiful gift given by God, but he works so hard to improve it, he is an example of perseverance, of improvement. When you have time, see the guides that were made to get to know Dimash and the interviews, the best thing he has is not his talent but his humble and genuine personality. What impresses me most is that despite practicing Islam, he has respect for other religions, including Christianity. He is able to unite and reach the hearts of thousands of people from different parts of the world with his art and sow the desire to be better and change their surroundings with love. Dimash does thank God every time he sings on stage. If you notice at the end of songs he end with his finger pointing upward showing that he knows he is blessed. He is a very respectful man and by the way his surname translates into “Given by God”. I love that you think marriage is sacred and my own marriage lasted 48 years., but I lost my husband to illness before we could reach 50 years . God bless you and keep you safe ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dimash's mother is an opera singer and his dad also sings, produces, and is a manager. Dimash is a product of great DNA and hard work. He began piano lessons at the age of three, and music school at five. When he appeared on "The Singer 2017", he was 22 and had been studying music for 20+ years. He now has three degrees and still does vocal training for 3-5 hours every day. In an interview, he said that if you were to cut open his heart, you would see music. He also said that since he was two, he has never wanted to do anything else but to sing. He did the Chinese version of this song, " Autumn Strong/ Late Autumn. I know you two reacted to Daybreak-Bastau. He first did it on Singer 2017 and was so ill that they had to take him to the hospital for throat injections. He still gave a wonderful performance. That is a dedicated singer.

This song is sooo beautiful❤️. And he performed it with so much emotions. You literally can feel his pain😪. His first song in Japanese. He has been invited to perform at the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021. But he couldn't go to Japan because of Covid. So he had to sing it from the studio in China. There he took part in the show Shine! Super Brothers. I’m not sure but I think it was his studio in China. But I do know he got a studio as a gift for his birthday. If the Japanese reactors are to be believed, Dimash sang in perfect Japanese. Some also claimed that it was better Japanese than many Japanese themselves😅. I also recommend Daybreak but please make sure to react to the version from The Singer competition first🙏🙏🙏🙏. I highly recommend you to watch the version with the story behind on the Gloria Wu channel and then the one from his Bastau concert. It was the 8th performance of this competition. I don’t think there are copyright issues, because the videos on this channel are already edited. I think you will appreciate the Bastau version even more if you’ve seen The Singer version before. As somebody mentioned in a comment, I totally agree that it is always very frustrating when reactors jump on the Bastau version and don’t know the sad story of this song and don’t even try to activate the subtitles. I can understand that a lot of Dears prefer reactions to this version because it is just incredibly more powerful. In my opinion, however, it loses at bit of its impression, if you don’t know why he sings, the way he sings. This song tells a very sad but true story. You really have to watch this with subtitles. It’s really important to know what the song is about. In the Singer version he was so sick and had a severe sore throat and fever. He lost his voice the night before his performance of Daybreak. I heard him say in an interview that it was very painful throughout the song, that his throat feels like shredded glass but he didn’t want to disappoint the people who stand behind him and so he pulled himself together and went on stage. He got 5 injections from this doctor in the hospital. And the doctor told him not to sing high notes. You can see how concerned the other competitors were and they suffered with him. They knew he was not doing well and one of them even gave him a very expensive Chinese medicine from his own inventory. The problem was his busy schedule between the performances and he didn’t have enough time to recover. He made very good friends there and many friendships still exist today. After the performance he lost his voice again. It’s unbelievable how he always manages to convey emotions to such a degree. Though I think in this one particular version the emotions he shows are mostly concern about his voice keeping up with the song and the pain he must have been in doing it. The Bastau version (no sore throat) of Daybreak is phenomenal and mind-blowing. So emotional and heartbreaking. Maybe you can do both together. Many reactors do and so you can see the difference between this two performances. In both versions I always cry my eyes out. I don’t know why I have to cry more. Because of the story or the fact, that he was in such pain and performed anyway because he didn’t want to disappoint the audience. Both version were in the same year 2017. 🙏🙏🙏The Singer/Gloria Wu: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4mqd2qsnKqMgQ 🙏🙏🙏 Bastau version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJy9hX2ggdR3bJY Please first The Singer then the Bastau version🙏🙏🙏. 👉 Dimash sang Ikanaide (live and for the first time in Japanese) on the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021(in his studio). Because of the pandemic, the annual Tokyo Jazz Festival took place online again. Filmmakers verify that the videos have not been edited and manipulated, so the singer sings live. In 2020 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs: * S.O.S. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZWuinelprB_hpo * Samaltau - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXbcfayBjJKajbs The original song Ikanaide was composed in 1989 by Koji Tamaki (*1958) singer and songwriter, the lyrics come from one of his lyricists Goro Matsui. In the same year, the song was used as the theme song for a Chinese-Japanese television series Farewell, Lixianglan, about the Japanese woman Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920 - † 2014) a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling. Koji Tamaki sent a wonderful message to Dimash, thanking him, and praising him for singing his song in Japanese. Vbloggers, they reacted to the original by Koji Tamaki, they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to Koji Tamaki. He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out: Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - kzbin.info/www/bejne/haHKn4BogsiWebM Dimash's Japan Fan Club asked the famous Japanese author of lyrics of 'Ikanaide' Goro Matsui about his emotions at Dimash performance. It's one of his favorite songs: "… I heard Dimash singing "Ikanaide" by accident. The first thing that impressed me was his crystal clear tone and expressive voice. I heard other Asian artists perform the song many times, but despite their magnificent vocal skills, none seemed to capture the true meaning of the original lyrics. In the chorus of the song, the line "Ah, Ikanaide" is repeated several times. And although these are the same words, each line has a different meaning. And it seems to me that Dimash felt it. " In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqWwY3ipnK13aa8 The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics and meanings… and of course Dimash sings both very differently: - The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for the passage of time, a farewell and change...sad but inevitable and irrevocable - The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss of a loved one, is full of pain, begs, suffers... heartbreaking. I'm totally mesmerized by how sensitively Dimash differentiates and conveys to the listener the feelings of sadness and loneliness in the Chinese version and loss and pain in the Japanese version. Even his whispers and his breath are music... it breaks my heart and the tears flow... and at the end everyone suddenly holds their breath, we hear Dimash breathing, then a deep and comforting hum. I've never heard anything like that from other singers in my entire life. Only Dimash can do that. This is true mastery. * The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Autuumn Strong - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZ7MY5aMns-Xg9E This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong. * Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: Autumn Strong - kzbin.info/www/bejne/amSaenipea6NnKc * Other version by Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - Autumn Strong - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5bag2t4pMhlZ6s (Thanks to all Dears who helped to complete the information)

Dimash began music school at aged 5 & the teachers there recognised that he had perfect pitch at that young age. He often speaks about 'getting into character' for his songs, so this is how he feels & lives the songs as well as he does. He loves MJ, he also loves heavy metal, rap and Opera. He has an eclectic taste in music & that's probably why he is so good at so many genres of music. 😊🙏💕

Dimash's name means 'Given by God'. His full name is Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen(ov...in Russian for male). His dad is Kanat Aitbeyev and his mum Svetlana Aitbeyeva. I think his grandfather on his dad's side is Kudaibergen. The sequence of names is a bit hard to work out. Kazakh Qs are Ks in Russian, so Qazak/Kazakh, Qudaibergen/Kudaibergenov, etc., I think. Both languages are beautiful in song, with Russian having heavy consonants.

This version "Ikanaide" (行かないで) ) is the original, from 1989, composed by Koji Tamaki (famous Japanese singer, born in 1958) with lyrics by Goro Matsui. The version "Autumn Strong" (Late Autumn), sung in Chinese, uses the same song, but has another lyrics (Yaqui Cheung, from 1993) and another theme: It talks about the Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamagushi, very dear to the Chinese, who was deported when they discovered her Japanese origin (his real name was Li Xiang Lan and we're talking about World War II, where Japan was China's enemy) and never returned to China. In the original version, the lyrics are more intimate, sentimental and more recognized worldwide. It means: "Please don't go!".
