Dimash's first performance during this Chinese competition show for professional singers of 14 episodes was SOS d'un Terrien En Détresse. He was invited into the show as a wild card among a range of seasoned and popular singers. Totally unknown, he sang SOS and was an overnight sensation. Highly recommended to watch that song. The second performance was Opera 2 where he showed his magnetic stage personality, bewitching the audience with his flirtatious attitude. After that, even his competitors loved him. He went on to become famous in Russia promoted by Igor Krutoy, magnate of the Russien music industry. His first noted performance during that period was Sinful Passion. All these three performances are the starter kit for Dimash beginners. After that, you will be a Dear as Dimash likes to call his fans.

The first song is in Italian. The title is "Confessa" (in Italian confessa is the imperative form of the verb to confess, someting like ordering to someone to confess something. It sounds something like "you must confess"). The italian version is from Adriano Celentano, a well known singer in Italy (I don't know if the italian version is also a cover or if it is the original). I know all this things even if I know more or less nothing about musc, only because... I'm Italian. Diva Dance is from the Movie the 5th Element.. The song in the movie is sung by an Alien which they used electronic voice. The song was suposed to be unsingable by the Human voice ... Dimash can sing it .... That is how good he is...

Don’t worry if you felt a little overwhelmed. There are a lot of great singers, but there is only one Dimash. His vocal control is beyond human level. He is so accurate and precise in his larynx aperture, he can control how much high/low/loud/quiet he let out within 0.1%

You have not seen anything yet 😁. He's gotten even more amazing throughout the years. He's already quite famous and has very prestigious awards under his name overseas. Just browse Wikipedia and you'll see a whole list 😲. And don't worry, you won't need to understand the language to enjoy his music (as you've just experienced). He's able to make you cry if the song demands it even if you have no idea what he's saying (I'm talking through experience 😅). Pick anything you like to react to next. He's very versatile and can sing in many genres and languages. If you want to enjoy his progression try reacting to his performances from this contest first (The Singer 2017 china) than move up to his other performances. Or do them interchangeably, I personally couldn't wait to see his recent music. I suggest not reacting to his performance from The World's Best Show (CBS) coz they cut a lot of his performances which just butcher up the experience. Algo estupendo, potentísimo, es Ogni Pietra (me gusta la versión fancam pero no es el mejor sonido, podés verla en simultaneo con la toma oficial que posee excelente sonido (es que la expresividad al cantar que se puede observar en la versión fancam es in-cre-i-ble)). Más sugerencias: Mademoiselle Hyde, un ensueño hecho canción; Your Love, tremendo, una masterclass de interpretación. Dos hermosísimas canciones: Ulisse, un dúo, y Ti amo cosi, un trío (ambos operísticos), y para finalizar este mensaje: Samaltau (Tokyo Jazz), hermosísima canción folklórica. The "false ending" was the end of Confessa. Diva Dance was written to be sung "by an alien" in the movie 5th Element - and it was deliberately written to be impossible for a human voice to sing. (For the movie, the notes were sung individually then assembled by computer.) Then Dimash came along and sang it live. This is from Singer, a Chinese competition for professional singers that lasts 14 episodes. Dimash was invited as a wild card, age 22... the first invitation to a foreigner, and the youngest performer. (Average ages were 30-45). In Singer, the audience votes determine who stays, who goes, and eventually, who wins. It was assumed that he'd be voted out after the second episode - instead - after the first performance, SOS (please do SOS next!) the clip went viral overnight and he woke up a star in China, and was recognized in the streets the following morning. You're the first reactor I've seen take on this selection for a first reaction - must have been disorienting, LOL. Thank you for responding! Looking forward to many more.

Not accurate. Not first invitation to a foreigner. In Singer previous seasons....singers from South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Canada, US were invited. In Singer 2017, Dimash was the only non Chinese invited. There's many foreigners invited but all of them Chinese....these foreigners were from i.e Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan.
