Travis welcome the REAL DEAL....Home Free are amazing. They lean country but sing all genre's. During quarantine they did some amazing work.....they reworked the Billy Joel song, "Honesty" into "Quarantine" that is not only amazing harmonies but quite funny too. During qurantine Don McLean reached out to them and on the 50th aniversary of his iconic & classic song, they redid his American Pie with Don McLean himself. They also did a cover of Jake Owens "Down to the Honkytonk"'. They also have amazing originals too...Dive Bar Saints, Land of the Free (co-written by the bass Tim Foust that intrigued you so much....also Cross that Bridge, Why Not?, and their cover of Country Roads will knock your socks off....trust me it's not Denvers song, they do it a nive gospel/bluesy style. But I think your next song should be When a man loes a woman....Austin takes it to the next level....you'll hear it when you see it....Travis get ready for the best music journey of your life !!

There are so so many that are absolutely amazing! And they're not just incredibly talented...they are so personable and funny too! They love their fans and their personalities come through in their music. Yes...you should hear " Man of Constant Sorrow", and the "Butts Medley" is a fan favorite. But I recommend watching their performances on the " Sing-Off", which they won, just to give you an idea where they come from, etc. One member of the group is different since the Sing Off, but you'll see that as you go along. In this song, the new member is in..as he is today. The lead singer here is the Tenor, Rob Lundquist. The other guy who took the secondary lead is Austin Brown, the high tenor. The bass guy is Tim Foust, who has a 5 octave range, bu the way. Then tgeres Adam Chance, or Chance they call him who us the baritone. Finally you have Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, who is a 2 time national Champion beatboxer.( They say he swallowed a drum kit, lol). Another one of their fun ones is "Cant Stop the Feeling" and another popular one is "When a Man Loves a Woman", done during quarentine. There are so many more. Just pick one and go. They do not disappoint ever! Great reaction. Subbing to see more!

Tim Faust, the bass, has a 5 octave range! He is my personal favorite. If you would like to hear him blow speakers just go down their Rabbit Hole. "Man Of constant Sorrow is what you should see next. Followed by the RELIGIOUS HYMN "HOW GREAT THOU ART". IT IS THE BEST VERSION I HAVE EVER HEARD. ADAM RUPP, the beat boxer is a 2 time world champion! They all sing lead, according to the type of song. Each person in this wonderful band is fantastic!!! " Mayday" is great, but hold off on it until you get a true feal for the group! I loved your reaction!!!

Home Free is: Earlier Years Chris Rupp (usually wearing a Cowboy Hat & always smiling) and Adam Rupp, the Beatboxer founded the Group. Chris went Solo in 2016 with which he is doing Very Well! Adam Chance who goes by Chance was brought in to replace Chris! Chance is the Baritone that has a 4 Octave Range. He can replace Tim, the Group's Bassist when needed as Chance was the Bassist in his previous Group before Home Free. Back to Adam Rupp, he's the incredibly talented Beatboxer and can sing well too! His Beatboxing is above and beyond any other Beatboxer that I have seen! He's also won several Beatboxing Championships to boot!😁😁 Now to Tim, the Group's Bassist has a 5 Octave Range so he can Lead the Group as a Bassist or a Tenor or something in between! He's Phenomenal and he's also taught some other Bassists from other Acapella Group's to be able to do certain things that allow them to get Lower and hit Notes they weren't able to before now. The Bearded Singer is the Group's Tenor and he is Awesome! Such a Creamy Tone and at times his Range is incredible too! To end the Group's Members is Austin the Group's High Tenor. This man is unbelievable! He can hit the highest of the highest of notes and he still can do Low Notes almost Baritone standards! Now hopefully you can get caught up with the Group's Members!

There’s little I enjoy more than seeing a reactor go “Home Free? Who?” And then taking the first step to find the answer. The winners of the Sing Off the year after PTX, they were started by Adam Rupp, the extraordinary beat boxer, and his brother Chris Rupp. (Chris is now doing his own thing, and he’s worth checking out also. ) The “beard”, Rob Lundquist is one of the most talented tenors I’ve ever heard. Austin Brown, the high tenor (ginger hair) has a stunning range and an education in musical theater. Adam Chance (goes by Chance to avoid confusion) is a remarkable baritone who has been improving his bass range as well as doing some amazing lead work. Then there’s Tim Foust. Bass with a 5 octave range. Tim, Austin and Chance all write music. Chance is a talented guitarist, Tim is a keyboard/piano guy. Together, they are (IMHO) the very best a cappella group around. If you want to hear more bass from Tim, check out their video of Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan. As you check out their work, look out for their wicked sense of humor and their great personalities. Enjoy the ride.

Great reaction! Welcome to your Home Free journey! Pick any song from these 5 talented guys and you will not be disappointed! Every one of them can sing beautifully! Their beatbixer/ vocal percussionist Adam Rupp is truly a freak of nature, who sounds like he swallowed a drum kit. The bass Tim Foust aka the beast! He has a 5 octave singing voice, which when he goes his lowest rattles your soul! Check out their cover of Hillbilly Bone to hear him sing lead. They sing different genres of music. They also take turns singing lead. They are down to earth and have a great sense of humor. Check out The Butts Medley. Or their Country Fried pop medley. Talent and personality a win win for us Home Fries ( Home Free fans). I'm a new subscriber, came for the Home Free. I am a Home Fry! Thank you for your reaction! Thank you for a great reaction. The guys did this song so well. I see where you have been given information about who is who, I will add a little...Tim Foust is from Southeast Texas...Austin Brown from Georgia...Adam Chance from Alabama...Rob Lundquist and Adam Rupp from Minnesota. You will see a different guy in some of the songs who was part of the group before Chance. Chris Rupp, Adam Rupp's brother, the two of them founded the group on 2000. Chris went out on his own and is doing well. So many songs suggested and the all are terrific, I won't add to them for a bit. Oh, liked and subscribed. It's gonna be fun.

When Home Free won the NBC show the Sing Off (2013), the year after Pentatonix won, Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they wanted to do right by him. Try Ring of Fire, they have Avi Kaplan join them for that song. It’s a good one. Home Free does sing country but they sing all genres. Try Blue Ain’t Your Color, I Can’t Outrun You, Helplessly Hoping. They’re a tremendous group known for their harmonies. Good reaction Travis.

There are a few songs which introduce people to Home Free...This, Man of Constant Sorrow and How Great Thou Art...there is sooo many good (all of them in fact) videos, especially during their quarantine series of videos....that are simply amazing. You have funny, serious, tear jerkers, iconic and originals....all amazing...take your pick! I am sure many will recommend in the comments...Welcome to the HF rabbit hole. As far as my list, "Butts Medley", Travelin' Soldier, American Pie, Everybody Walkin' this Land, How Great Thou Art, Dive Bar Saints, Man of Constant Sorrow, Ring of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues, My Church, HillBilly Bone, One Voice, All About that Bass, Blue ain't your color and Country Fried Pop Medley. A little bit of everything in there but there is so much more just hold off on Mayday until you have several videos under your belt and you are comfortable with all the members vocal performances. Also, the original co-founders of HF are Adam Rupp (Beatboxer, Vocal Percussionist) and his brother Chris Rupp. Chris left to and Adam Chance was picked to replace him. The current members are Tim Foust (Bass with 5+ octave range), Adam Rupp (Vocal Percussionist and also can sing tenor), Austin Brown (High Tenor), Rob Lundquist (Tenor that had lead in this song) and Adam Chance (Baritone/Bass but can sing Tenor).

Just subbed for Home Free. You might want to check out Take Me Home Country Roads, or In the Blood, or Blue Ain't Your Color, or the remake of American PIE with Don McClean, or Children Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Roger's, or Elvira with the Oak Ridge boys -- to get more of their country vibe.

If you want to experience Tim's range, you should hear Misty Mountain with Peter Hollens and Tim Foust, or Tim's bass test... phenomenal.

Tim Foust is the bass, far left, and left to right with him are Adam Rupp the beat boxer, Rob Lundquist (smashing the lead on this one), Adam Chance (usually goes by Chance since there are two Adams) he can also sing bass to back up Tim, and Austin Brown, an amazing Tenor.

You will fall deep in the rabbit hole!!! LOL I always suggest you start with their Sing Off Season 4 performances with the intros and judges remarks (Judges are Shawn Stockman, Jewel and Ben Folds!!) then start at the bottom of the videos and work your way up to current ( I know that is hard to do! ) but it will show you just how much they have grown and gotten even more phenomenal over the years. Enjoy the ride!!!

The name of the thing is Tim Foust. He can slap you low or high, with a 5 octave range and mad runs! Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. To get slapped low, try Hillbilly Bone. To get slapped high, try Snow Globe (for Tim) or When A Man Loves a Woman (to get Austin's force). Have fun.

One that isn’t usually suggested but it still amazing- Try Everything (Shakira cover). Hard to believe it is all done with just their voices. Of course, I’m sure you were told to listen to Man of Constant Sorrow and Mayday. A big yes to both of those as well.

I'd seen qjite a few of your later Home Free reactions, but hadn't seen this before. Your expression at Tim's solo is priceless. It's so much fun to see people's first encounter with the boys and watch them plunging nead first down the rabbit hole. I know you've been enjoying the journey. Can't wait to see what they get up to next. How are they going to top the video of Brother?

Great reaction to a great song beautifully performed. As you love this song so much Travis, you really should listen to Gladys Knight’s version, released 1994, three years after boys ll men.

Great reaction. My first song was Man of Constant Sorrow and it was amazing & Ring of Fire too. If you like Tim's bass try Fishin in the Dark/Boondocks or Your Man, Everybody walking this Land. For Chance the baritone, Cover me up & Yours & Born in the USA; Austin the high tenor When a man loves a woman & Love me like that, When you walk in like that; Rob is featured in Colder Weather & Blue ain't your colour. For pure harmonies Helplessly Hoping & Go rest high on that mountain (The Church Sessions version) Auld Lang Syne & How great thou art and for the most amazing percussion & arrangement- Do you hear what I hear. All the beatboxing predominantly done by Adam Rupp is awesome as are all of their songs...after all that then do Mayday 😀

I found Home Free by watching reactors commenting on Pentatonix. And kind of switched to Home Free and I'm not a country music fan. They do all genre's.
