Austin is in studio with the sound man and his lovely lady Amberly Hall in his view by the camera. The other are in their studio spaces at their homes. This was filmed during the Covid quarantine and they filmed in and around their own homes to release a new video every 2 weeks. If you want to see what his beautiful goddess looks like, check out Home Free video Brother, a cover from a christian contemporary group called needtobreathe. The song is wonderful, the video is hilarious. And Amberly is the Kelt warrior woman who takes out elf-Austin from behind.

I always loved the late Percy Sledge's 1966 original & I think he'd have approved of Home Free's rendition. They're on screens because this was during the Covid lockdown. I think one of the songs you'd love is "Spaceship" - Rob's lovely wife Kelsey and their adorable children are in it.

"She can bring him such misery." Meaning she can treat him bad, take him for a fool, etc and he'll take it--it's all explained in the lyrics.

Percy Sledge wrote this song after a bad breakup. That's where the "such misery" line comes from.

From Wikipedia: "Authorship Calvin Lewis and Andrew Wright were members of the Esquires, a band in Sheffield, Alabama fronted by singer Percy Sledge. According to Wright, "We were set to play a Friday night dance, and we were practicing ... I was messing around on the organ when this riff came up out of nowhere. There was no one in the club but us. I told Calvin to go home and write some words." The next night, they rehearsed the emerging song with Sledge, changed it around, and soon afterwards auditioned the song for local businessman and radio DJ Quin Ivy. He liked the song but suggested that some of the words be changed to give a more positive message. Wright said, "We kept some of the phrases, worked on it for several weeks, and spent quite a bit of time in the studio."[6] Although the writing of the song is credited to Lewis and Wright, Sledge later said that he should have received a co-writing credit. In one story, Sledge said that one night he was upset over a broken relationship and asked Lewis and Wright to play a slow blues over which he improvised lyrics describing his emotions; Quin Ivy was at the show and asked the band to refine the lyrics so that it could be recorded. Sledge said that he allowed Lewis and Wright to take the writing credits because they gave him the opportunity "to sing his heart out".[3][better source needed] In another interview, Sledge said: When I wrote the song at first, it was called "Why Did You Leave Me Baby". And I changed it from that to "When a Man Loves a Woman". I just reversed it. Quin told me that if I was to write some lyrics around that melody and the expression I'd put into "Why Did You Leave Me Baby", he believed it would've been a hit record. He was one of the top disc jockeys at that time. Sure enough, he asked me if I had any lyrics for that. He said, "That's it! Write a story around that title! What a song that would be with that feeling you had!" It was a song that was meant to be. It wasn't just what I had done; it was the musicians, the producer, the background singers, the right time.[7]"

The line before he asks her not to treat him bad. This a man baring his soul to a woman. Telling her why she should look his way. The way his love is going to be. Basically, treat him gently if she doesn't feel the same way. Can tell you, that after working up the nerve to ask nothing cuts any deeper than a snicker, snort or an eye roll.

lol! Love your great reaction to this great cover and Austin just killed it! But you guys "arguing" at the end about whether there is passion in dancing, etc., made me chuckle. You absolutely showed how great a passion you have, dancing or otherwise, when you did the smoothest fast-talking I've ever heard about if a woman can bring misery to a man who deeply loves her! lol. That was so great! And you are right, the deeper you love someone, the more likely you could be hurt (in misery). If you don't love deeply, then you're not going to really care either way. Awesome reaction guys! Take care.

I agree about the passion. The passion for singing, dancing, writing. (I love to write, also.) It comes out in such a way that it looks easy. Austin makes singing look easy. It's not. Dancers make dancing look easy because of the passion they have for it. It makes all those difficult moves look easy enough for anybody to do. They are not. They just love what it is they do and it comes across as effortless. That's the passion.

What I love about Home Free is just how much music they’re putting out during Covid. I’m so appreciative. Austin and Adam (beatboxer) killed this. It’s so good. Austin has been putting out lots of music on his own channel too. He sings Etta James’s song “At Last”. He does an admirable job. The boys put out some funny songs lately and that’s been so much fun. Sea Shanty and Never Gonna Give You Up are hilarious while sounding so good. Good reactions you two and I subscribed.

I love singing. I'm passionate about singing. Other people love hearing and watching me sing. I hate watching and hearing videos of myself singing. It is too easy to be critical. I'm always comparing myself to other people, what vocal choices I "should've" made, or what needs improvement. But WHEN I'm singing, I don't care. I'm just singing and loving every moment.

Or the even worse situation of being cheated on. The whole point is it's a possibility not a definite. If the relationship doesn't work out for whatever reason, especially if it's unexpected and hurtful, pain and misery will be the result. And obviously that's the same the other way round too. But if it's a good relationship then obviously "misery" won't happen.

You two probably get the song wrong because the two of you are in love. The song is “when a man loves a woman” in the case of the original artist, he wrote this when he discovered the woman he loved did not love him. Brings a better understanding to the lyrics.
