Wolves howl to communicate their location to other pack members and to ward off rivaling packs from their territory. We all know Pablo is often being revered by his group members as the Alpha of the pack. As a leader, so much is expected of him. To be the strongest, the wisest and in other words the one who experts so much effort and sacrifice for the group no matter what. But sometimes, he just wants to be that little child who also longed to feel loved and protected. I think in this song, Pablo wants to share a part of himself , his vulnerabilities and personal struggles. This song is a masterpiece. Once again Pablo proves he's a lyrical genius and a good story teller when he sings. I Love his vocal dynamics, his signature growls and his emotional delivery of each line.

The howl of the wolf is embedded in the song. If you listen to the songs in the album in the order Pablo set, the songs tell/paint a story. It’s the two sides in him (first seen in La Luna) work through what life throws. It shows how connected Pablo is to his inner life.

Hi guys, thanks for reacting to Pablo’s The Boy Who Cried Wolf (TBWCW). The album is a masterpiece I believe. The journey of emotions and resolve. He said the songs on this album are heavy but he has given resolution s to the emotions. He lets you feel the ups and down of emotions. TBWCW is the title tract ant it encapsulates the album. This is how the boy see the wolf’s POV, that there could be reasons behind why the wolf is mad or sad, metaphorically connotes that if you don’t know the reason behind someone’s behaviour, don’t judge. And resolution at the end where he is almost talking to us saying you’re not alone. Love it so much. All the tracks in Alon is beautiful. All the lyric video has subtitle, except Wala. The outro Breathe is so perfect way of ending this album to transition to the next album, Laon. So proud of Pablo. Hope you can check out the whole album. Drowning in the Water (DITW) is a song he wrote when he was 14yo. Thank you again ❤

Although the wolves live in packs, Pablo chose to show only one wolf because he wants to show the vulnerability of the wolf. We are afraid of wolves because of their angry looks and sharp teeth but we don’t know what they are feeling. Just like people like us, there are good and bad ones. Same with all kinds of animals. There are also good wolves but they are always misinterpreted. We are afraid of them but actually they won’t harm the people if there is no one who will harm them.

Imho, and following the motif of La Luna and Presyon which both have dual personalities kind of talking to each other, this can be about a person singing as "the wolf" which is alone coz people sees him as a monster for being different. And the outro part which says "we're both in this together" if translated literally is "the TWO of us are in this together". Maybe one of the personalities is talking to the other that they both are in whatever they are struggling from. They don't have to face it alone (just one of the personalities) but both of them at the same time. He can be timid while being savage at the same time. Maybe that's what he needs to surpass whatever he's facing. This can also lead to the meaning of "The boy who cried wolf" as that means someone always telling a lie that no one believes him anymore. When he wants to show his other "true" personality, no one will believe him coz he has always been fronting the other personality (which is not a lie, but ANOTHER TRUE self).

Pablo is a revelation in these two albums. You'll see or hear the different sides of him as you go through the albums as those tackle varying genres. ALON is somber while LAON is upbeat. Pablo said that ALON is supposed to be listened to in the order of the playlist as the songs form a story. There still are no lyric videos uploaded for LAON but there are three English songs there - NEUMUN (pronounced as new moon), DON'T CARE and BLESSED.
