Nice and honest review. Thank you for sharing with us :). I too think this is one of their best songs. One thing to remember is apart from Rosė, for Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa. English is NOT their primary / native language. Although Jennie did spend 5 years in New Zealand so has learnt English in that time. Rosė was born in New Zealand and then lived in Australia. But considering that. The way they all sung it in English was very lovely, so much emotion in their voices especially from Lisa and Jisoo.

This is my interpretation. This song consists of a woman's monologue and conversation to the other man. Jisoo : monologue Jennie, Rose, Lisa : conversation Everytime the man made a mistake, the woman got angry and fought with each other. And she did something wrong, too. And finally, she gives up. Although there were good days in the past and they believed they could develop, she says no more. There are tears in both woman's and man's eyes now. But the woman says, "You are not the one who gets to cry." She wants to believe she doesn't love him. 'I can stop the tears if I want to.' But her true heart is that she still loves him 'even the moment he says no.' But she says to him, "I'm happy to end this relationship. Breaking up with you doesn't matter, Tonight I'll be the happiest girl in the world, you'll see like it never happened. " (In fact, she should let him go because she loves him.)

U said u liked the songwriting, so just wanted to tell it was written by Natalia kills & Willy.. it was actually made by them for herself or the grp Cruel youth something which she was in.. but after she got cancelled for the X-factor incident that happened, they couldn't release this song... I think it was a good decision to sell it to Blackpink's company YG & the girls did really well with the song👏👍.. the song is same only, I didn't find any difference listening to Natalia's version & Blackpink's version..
