Xenoblade first released on the Wii around 14 years ago. A remaster was made on the Nintendo Switch in 2020 where most of the soundtrack was also remastered.

Oh god, the flood gates have opened. Arguably, between the Xenoblade series and Final Fantasy XIV, this series has one of my favorite stories to date. There's something so god damn special about this series as a whole, and the soundtrack only highlights the experience. The first time this song plays in the first game still gives me chills.

This track sounds old because it is from the original game that released on the Wii in 2010, the game got remade in 2020 and they orchestrated all of the original OSTs, so they sound fairly different and most of the tracks got a lot better.

Listen to more Xenoblade, my n°1 IP, all media types combined. It's AoT level writing (really), has amazing characters, world, gameplay, MUSIC, even the lows of the OST are still really good.and yes, it's a nintendo owned IP. Monolith Soft are arguably the best video game studio, they do amazing games, the scope is crazy but they manage to somehow make them fit on small devices without issues, no delays, sometimes even release their games in advance, no crunch, DLCs that are basically another whole game for 30$... Also, this is the music from the wii version, so released in 2010, 14 years ago. The Wii had limitations for Music, that's why it sounds old, it's a MIDI music. "Definitive Edition" is a remaster (close to a whole remake, honestly) that released for switch in 2020, with a completely remastered OST. Also Also, there's Xenoblade (1), with about 4 hours of OST, plus another 4 and a half with the remastered version. There was Xenoblade X (pronounced "Cross") on the Wii U in 2015 with 4 hours of OST, ALL of it composed by Sawano, and that's the one project that forged his style going forward (he composed it in 2012 , before AoT), then Xenoblade 2 has another 4 hours and something, and Xenoblade 3's OST is ABOVE 12 HOURS. they're actually crazy. I love Xenoblade. You should all play it, really.

Nah, you can argue all you want with me, but the guitar part sounds so much like the Metin2 Map1 song if anyone else played that game and remembers it (I know it's probably Brazil, eastern europe and asia only and wasn't big in the US), plus when that Piano melody enters at 01:06 it sounds sooo much like the Digimon Evolution OST after the initial guitar part ( even that sounds on beat). This has to be inspired by Digimon Evolution theme in a way, there is no way this is so similar
