Lucy now you’ve felt what I did 30 plus years ago and for a first time gallop on that beautiful tb you did bloody marvelous so pat yourself on the back. He got strong and you kept your cool sitting very quickly which is exactly what you do with tbs on the gallops. It’s a great feeling isn’t it. Very well ridden. 👏👏👏👏👏Loved this clip brought back lovely memories for me.tfs😎🏇😎

Loving two a week but understand how demanding it must be. It must be very taxing to keep all those you love and care for healthy and happy. What a schedule you must keep! It must feel rather hectic at times. Will be sending kind thoughts and hoping for more warm sunshine for you to bask in!

Great Vlog! Loved Billy's yard also. His horses are beautiful 'Especially the one you were riding. Twice a week is great! Thanks for sharing the gallop using your GoPro Fun! Stay safe!💙😎🐎

It’s such an incredible experience isn’t it!!! I went to a racing yard as a job came up (wasn’t for me but I really enjoyed it!) and got trusted with a three year old and galloped her and honestly was the most exhilarating thing I’ve done haha! It was so much fun! And they do have so much power!

Great vlog Lucy! It was so nice to see the NH side of racing, which I must admit I do prefer. I like horses with a bit of bone versus the smaller fine flat racers. But well done, you did a great job for your first time hun! I would also like to wish Billy and his team the best of luck and hopefully he is very successful! Ps Yes the more vlogs the better for me, I know it is time consuming for you, but do love to see more of what you get up to, so thank you hun and take care 🥰💜

Makes you realize how differently a race horse is trained than any other kind of competition horse. When you pull on their mouths, they go faster. Precious Cargo is just gorgeous. Can you imagine riding eight horses a day as an exercise rider?. You would have to be incredibly fit to do it. I had to laugh when you kept apologizing for passing the other horse. Here’s what your mount was thinking: “ I don’t get it with humans. First they want me to pass everybody and win. The next minute, I’m supposed to be behind everybody and get in trouble if I pass them. What’s with that? “

You will never have time faults again if you do this often enough. You will learn how to keep up to pace. You said your arms got tired. With practice you learn to balance and use your body rather than just your arms. Being tall it takes time to find the perfect leather length but it can be done. The other thing . Leave your good boots at home and ride in short chaps. You don't get rubbed below your knee.
@fleetskipper18102 жыл бұрын
