The fact that these ships dock multiple ships deep blows my mind - I couldn't believe when I saw a video of people boarding their ship via multiple other ships!

Been there, done that. It's really not a problem and doesn't last that long. River cruising is sooo relaxing and comfortable. He's really making a big deal out of nothing!!!

Had fun with being stacked at a destination. Talked to other cruisers, got to look over another cruise line boat, tried to have lunch on a sister boat. Was fun to watch the shuffle as the inside boat was departing and two outside boats stayed lashed together moved out into the channel inside boat left and then we returned to dock. With the majority of river travel done at night, not much value in the high dollar cabins, we spent very little time in the cabin.
