Hey, just letting you know, recently Cyberpunk had a huge update and added DLC. Many of the glitches and gameplay problems have been fixed and there is much more content and much better balance in combat.

Cyberpunk did have a ROUGH start, there were a lot of issues that screwed up development. But, CD buckled down, and fixed the issues. Then they basically redesigned half the game, released it in a free update, and also released the phantom liberty expansion adding in TONS more. They're still updating the game, tweaking things, fixing things, and adding new content. The game is insanely fun and is well worth a play. Speaking of Cyberpunk though, there's an anime of it called Cyberpunk Edgerunners. The story is set before the game, so you don't need to have played the game at all to follow it. It does an excellent job of introducing you to the world. It's REALLY good, and you absolutely need to watch it at some point. It's only 10 episodes long, and every episode is awesome. Fun fact, the main character is voiced by Tanjiro.

Cyberpunk(in addition to being the name of the genre as a whole) is also TTRPG like D&D and 2077 is based on it. Also, fun fact, I believe the original TTRPG was set in 2020. Presumably the game moved to '77 because we passed '20.

1st edition ruleset takes place in 2017, 2nd in 2020, 3rd in 2030s, 4th in 2045, and 5th in 2077.

Hey, remember when you said that you were gonna watch the Devil My Cry videos next? And then you didn’t, and we reminded you, and you said, "Oh yeah, i forgot!" And then you said you were gonna actually watch it next... You still haven’t... Anyway, this video is very outdated as it came out not too long after the game did, and it's been heavily updated and mostly fixed since then. Whether it's good now or not is subjective, but i think it's made up for the bad release. Also, they made an anime prequel after the game came out that is actually really good.

Nah the anime is amazing especially with what ST did within those 10 Episodes and it makes sense to do dub which is not at all bad, the anime takes place in USA afterall.

If anything, the game is way less anti capitalism and definitely way more dude-bro centric than the genre usually is. Like, if you’re expecting something to go against patriarchal norms, the genre as a whole is a yes and this game is a hell no. But if you assume the writing is catered to 13 year old cishet white boys then you probably are guessing right.

That's not exactly a fun fact. Every single Cyberpunk movie or game is about a futuristic hell ruled by capitalism and corporates. That is either the main plot or the setting

Most people already saying it, but yeah. No factions or whatever, but skill trees and... basically all of the game play are totally redesigned now, cars work infinitely better, and there's actually vehicular AI now so the cops don't just teleport. Other gangs come after you too.

There's so much creativity they put in the Cyberware, the Subdermal Grip that became Ballistic Coprocessor from the E3 Demo made me rethink what Cyberware is because it's this sort of padding of sorts built into the palm that goes to the thumb with there being these 3 reddish strips of sorts in the palm with silver circuitry lined around with fingers having these individual "bits" or small parts put into that, not easy for me to describe this Hand Cyberware but that's a little what I can. Edit:Alright well parts of the hand was carved and then the parts of this thing is built into the hand.

Actually you have seen a bit of cyberpunk before. Remember Stupedium and their data stream song (Here's my request to check out their Frostpunk videos)? Also this video is SUPER outdated. The game's legitimately better now, not like Fallout 76 which is “better now” but still sucks.

Yesterday was a fun day off for me, especially with KZbin content. You and Kirby watching HFIL, a new DragonShort, a new Badger video on World of Warships, a new CinemaWins, and MasakoX putting out his next "Good Boy Cell" episode. I got to watch those, plus my wife and I continued further on our Baldur's Gate 3 co-op campaign. We're sadly further on that than my solo campaign, she's beaten the game multiple times.

Most (maybe 97%) of the music in the game is entirely copyright free. There are a few songs that aren't, but the game options includes a toggle to take those songs out of the game for complete streamer safety. Also all of the songs attributed in-game to the band 'Samurai' were written by the game's creator, Mike Pondsmith as flavor text for the original version of the TTRPG.

all I remember is that every big patch they released I tried to continue to play but everytime when I had manage my inventory/weapon collection it turned into a desaster iirc first you have to get everything out of the storage in your inventory to be able to use filter and then sell/recycle/etc stuff and put the rest back but everytime you click one time to fast etc and a lot of work goes lost so instead of reload you just quit it again... mfg Olli

Okay, 2 things to say/type here. I'll try to keep things other people might've told you short. 1. Yes, the game was SUPER buggy(no, not the pirate from One Piece)/glitchy. CD Project Red spent the 3/4 years since release fixing things, adding new things for free as an apology, and have said they're going to make a sequel. They only charged for 1 piece of DLC, and it added so many new things it can qualify as a completely different game. So also yes, people are still playing it myself included. B. Whether you do Maxor's 2 videos covering Devil May Cry 5 depends on how you feel about spoilers. If you want NO SPOILERS then do what you're doing with Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Wait until you've beaten them to watch his videos for them. If you have little interest in playing Devil May Cry 5, and/or don't care about spoilers for it then go ahead and watch them. As you might've picked up by now Maxor does do spoilers, but they're heavily exaggerated.
