Miyazaki is the lead developer of From Software, which makes him in charge of making Dark Souls/Elden Ring/Bloodborne/Sekiro. So he is the guy we blame for the hardcore difficulty. There are many that say Bloodborne is the best game From Software has ever made, with the best combat, best level design, best bosses, best music, and so on. Obviously thats subjective but there's plenty of merit. The issue is that it is still to this day a PS4 exclusive. They haven't even made a remastered version for PS5 yet, although it is backwards compatible and actually runs pretty well on PS5. There have been plenty of rumors that we'll one day get a port, but I'm not expecting much.

Let's be real its only stuck on ps4 because Sony doesn't have a sequel to bait people to buy a PS5 for like what they did with Last of Us, Horizon, and God of War.

@huyle-ob8rg because Sony only likes releasing their exclusives from the hell that is the PS4 if they know they have a sequel coming up they can dangle in front of your face by giving you the first one on a wider range of media outlets. It's a good tactic to get people to buy a PS5 for the sequels they're going to keep locked on it until the next cycle or the end of time. Except that's hard to do when only now people can actually even maybe buy a PS5.

metroidvania is in fact a whole genre and not just a max0r. It basically games where backtracking is hightly encouranged and more of the games map opens up the more bosses you beat or upgrades you get.

Imagine in Bloodborne 2, the playable hunter from first game is still a baby slugtopus so you must play as the doll killing monsters and or people so you can bring their organs and such back to the dream for feeding the ex-hunter eldritch slugtopus. But then I'm not sure how we would level up if we play as the doll.

@@wastelandjunkie6494The DLC does have the hardest Bosses in the Game, but as with all Fromsoft Games, people really like to overstate how hard they actually are. They are only really "hard" if you are stupid or stubborn. Just pay attention, be patient and learn the movesets. Die 20-30 times to each boss if you have to, thats part of the fun learning experience^^ Every boss is beatable and has exploitable weaknesses or strats, weapons, items, etc. that crush them. And hey, if all else fails, summon help or go overlevel yourself. Always does the trick eventually^^ There is no challenge in these games your human ability to think and use the resources at your disposal + patience and determination cant overcome.

I wish there was a game like Sekiro but you play as a dragon scale tsukumogami. So a single scale fell off a dragon and it was so powerful that the dragon scale became it's own sentient being.

@@theduckgoesmoo I mean, very simplified. Find power source/evidence of enteties beyond human comprehension. Teacher thinks one needs more insight/eyes. His prodigee thinks one needs to work with the blood. Both want to ascend to a higher plain of existence. Prodigee creates the "healing church" because the blood cures all sickness. The choir is there to study up on ascension. And then the result of the blood is one turns into animals so the third part is the "workshop". The place the hunters create weapons. The spider thing near the end of the game is hiding the real world from us. Killing it reveals all the horrors around us that we didn't have enough insight(see how it goes back to the teacher?) to see. These entities require humans to breed. We kill the child of one such being that has no form.(easy way for the developers to not need to show a baby getting murked). Actions we take during the game can result in an ending where we change into a being of a higher dimension, if you do you basically manage to do with neither the teacher or student managed to do. You ascended. As usual, for the full story you just go to Vaatividya.

Specifically they are the umbilical cords from the birth of a newborn Great One. All Great Ones desire a child, but for whatever reason they cannot birth them without the child being stillborn. Therefore they need a surrogate mother, and so mortal women are chosen for the job, often against their will. It's left unanswered what the requirements are for actually becoming pregnant with a Great One child.

I love this game, beaten it multiple times and during one of my playthroughs I even beat Orphan of Kos on the first attempt. What makes it more interesting is that the first time I played this it was rented from Redbox and I couldn't figure out where the lever was to get to the first lantern before i had to return it.

I think a big reason why Max0r sounds different you, is because back during the era of his older videos, he would record his "normal" voice and leave it mostly unfiltered(watch his Genshin Impact streams to see what I mean).

I really think you should get into the lore of these games, especially Dark Souls and Elden Ring. For Dark Souls, I personally recommend VaatiVidya's "Dark Souls Lore ► Explained!" video as an introduction, and for Elden Ring, his "Elden Ring Lore" playlist is really good. His videos are the reason I started playing these games, they're really well made.

The multiplayer is the same Dark Souls have, you can summon other players into your game so they can help you with areas and bosses, you can also be invaded by other players and their objective is to kill you, sadly Bloodborne's multiplayer is basically dead since its hard to find another player to summon or invade
