Great. It's good to see people visit China and see the REAL China. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited China a few years ago. It is NOTHING like we've been lied to in the West.

@@hashin Mate, I'm envious of your journey so far. Take your time, and there is so much to see. Every new place I went in China, there were, always, new experiences to be had. I'm a White Male Aussie, mate, but the Citizens of China were so friendly, helpful and respectful. Even the Police were very helpful with me when I got lost (and they don't carry guns).

We're not talking about USA. 37 Million in USA living in poverty. China is very much 21st Century. USA is still stuck, in most of the Country, in the 20th Century.

You all that keep saying this, you still have no idea what you are talking about. No doubt about it, the highest end of new infrastructures that are spectacles such as: subway systems, CBDs, airports, malls, these types of things are often "better" in alot of places in the world over the US, but what you cannot comprehend until you actually get to the US and compare it to places like your Chinas, Japans, Indias, is outside of those "amazing" attractions that I have named, the fill in areas outside of those major landmarks and pieces of infrastructures, the areas that fill in around them dont come close to competing with the infrastructure system setup we have here in the US. The way infrastructure is set up here in the US is a whole different world than whatever they have over there in China, in the US, everything is uniform, we dont really have the parity of the ultra modern advanced stuff, then the fill in areas are kinda WORLDLY different in comparison to the newest stuff, the term "infrastructure" is a completely different meaning in the US than in these other countries, each of our 50 states in reality, could all individually serve as their own country, no one on earth could compete with "infrastructure" even outside of the fact our infrastructure is the best, when looking at the fullness of the word, and the coverage our infrastructure has over the entire nation, if the US was actually not throwing money in the trash LITERALLY, and taking infrastructure modernization seriously; the world would be in serious trouble.

@@hashin Already have, have you ever even been to the US? I can assure you, we have no Chinese companies in the US that anyone can readily name, but tons of US named companies and brands in China, the US has infrastructure that stretches even far beyond our boarders, you should travel more, like outside of the highly newly urbanized areas of China, see how the place really looks for most locals.

Yes, no matter how old the railway is, it is best if it conforms to market rules. No maintenance is required, just let nature take its course. There is no need to spend a lot of money to maintain the subway. It’s not cost-effective, right? Long live the free market.
