Go skate them! They look soo good. Personally i have the 808 a bit too firm so 1010 I like to trie also. Had to get used to them now love them. Looking forward for your revieuw. P.s. 1010 last forever it's amazing also their fit stays the same love that also my body love em best impact protecting ever. Can skate more often and longer without feeling sore, less kneeproblems also for ankletweaks they feel really stable&solid. I''m 49 still flipping an ripping kind off ;) so a good shoe gets more and more important.

I also went from skating blazers and dunks to a pair of 1010s and found they were really comfy on foot but maybe a little too much padding and didn't quite have the board feel I liked. I got used to them and could do all my tricks but just didn't have the confidence I would usually. Now I skate the NB 440s, they are a cupsole with really good board feel and are good to go straight out of the box, a good mix of board feel but still some foot protection, definitely worth a try. Also a bit wider in forefoot than a Nike blazer/dunk which I find a little tight which is why I initially made the switch.

Love my 440's, took forever to break in though as a vulc guy typically and I had to replace their shitty stock insole with some reminds. Not sure I'd reccomend to everyone but they do skate great

i have the 808s Lemos, I love the shoe so much I hope New Balance will never stop producing Lemos shoes, maybe I will get the 1010s next.

Once you go cup, that's what's up. Don't think I'll ever be skating vulcs again after a few pairs of Adidas Tyshawn's in a row. I wanna try the 1010's but they are pretty damn pricey and never see them on sale. They were $150 CAD in my small town lol.

I think the 1010's are super comfortable with very decent impact support. The 808's have even better impact support but do feel a lot stiffer at first and need time to get used to :)

Dude, the break in period on some shoes these days is crazy. I've been skating the Force 58s lately and if I don't wear them every day at work for at least 2 weeks before skating they feel like horrible. But once broken in they feel great and last forever.

coming from Half Cabs the 1010's feel more comfortable and give more support to me. 808's give even more support but are stiffer and need more break-in time

Imo no super glueing needed on either of tiagos shoes. Last pair of 1010s I had lasted me about 5 months, currently skating some 808s that are still going strong after about 3 months

tried these and wanted to love them, but NBs sizing is really weird...they were simultaneously too small in my usual size, whilst being quite wide in the toe box. Tried a half size up and they just felt far too spacious around my forefoot. Shame as they're unquestionably a good skate shoe, but the weird sizing reminded me of the same problems i have with eS shoes. I'm on my 10th or 11th pair of Tyshawn Mids now, haven't yet found a skate shoe that tops those for me.

@fiore_adriano fantastic shoes if you have the right feet, they're fairly slim so only really for the narrow foot crowd. I'd say they fit on the small size so go half a size up if you try some and don't have super narrow feet.

That's wild I been wearing the Es Quatros for a month of hard skating and only replaced the laces twice(vegan edition tan/sand edition) but my true size they fit phenomenol. I just ordered some 1010s bc they was 55 bucks free shipping thru ccs. So why not. Sucks you didn't like Es tho, they're a solid skate shoe
