I bet Nishi will never do it! 🤣
Thank you for all of your recommendations and have fun watching! ❤️
Much love and respect,

Khabar baik Kissa! 😉Nasi Lemak is rice cook with coconut milk, we call anchovy BILIS in Malay. CENDOL basically got less things unlike ABC plus coconut milk & palm sugar, can add durian too, you should try next time! CENDOL (CHAIN DOLL), ABC (AIR BATU CHARM PUR) 🙂 crispy crunchy snack we call KEREPEK. The one you ate with banana leaf we call it PAPADOM its Indian kerepek. You need to do extra exercise with that amount of foods 😅and NISHI San Ganbatte in learning english!!

Your nasi lemak is rich with additional side dish. Great but later you may try a basic nasi lemak which has Nasi + anchovies, cucumber, boiled egg and sambal. Usually around RM 1 to RM 2 according to area. You may add on any side dish too but I suggest not too many e.g. rendang or fried chicken or liver or prawn sambal. Welcome to Malaysia. Please enjoy your stay here and stay safe.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for showing your tasting nasi lemak, Malaysian national dish. Wow, u can speak Malay now.

Now, didn't tell u so, d close similarities between halo halo n ABC, glad u liked it. If it's topped up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, then it'll be creamier.

Kissa, just to share a bit, nasi lemak, many decades ago, was a peasant food, a simple coconut rice with sambal n egg, sliced fresh cucumber n crispy peanuts n dried anchovies (ikan bilis), wrapped in a banana leaf. Nowadays, it's very lavish with d side dishes, esp with spicy fried chicken or beef/chicken rendang. Once, not so long ago, it was my savior, saves my day with a decent food that only cost RM1 per wrapped. Nasi lemak, is by far one of all time fav comfort food.

If u r interested to watch more of d Malaysian street food compiled by foreign tourists, then make little time to watch few of d videos by Food n footprints, Greg n Jumi. D couple, Greg is from NYC n Jumi is from where u came from, d Phillipines. They were stranded here in Malaysia during d pandemic n lockdown in 2020 n they spend more than a year in Malaysia, tasting many varieties of d Malaysian street food.

Kissa, I didn't want to intrude u with my suggestions as I want u to go with d flow, enjoying your explorations at your own sweet time. But like always, popular food like nasi lemak n Ramly burger normally gets d Malaysian attention. Not far from Wanjo, there's a shop that sells good Malay dishes originated from d east coast like nasi kerabu n nasi dagang, nasi campur, maybe u like to try it later. N not far away, believe it, there's a side street vendor that sells baklava n kunefe. U tried d Indian banana leaf rice, do try d biryani rice, d roti canai n murtabak, rojak etc. And don't forget d Chinese food like chicken rice, char kway teow, dim sum, yong tofu, cheong fun, steam boat, curry laksa, asam laksa n prawn noodles etc. One of d fav food in Malaysia is satay, meat on grilled bamboo skewers grilled over charcoal, served with peanut sauce. All these street food r on UTube. And it's not complete of your visit if u don't visit d pasar malam, open night markets that r all over Malaysia, u can also try d food truck site near KLCC. Well, like I said earlier, I really didn't want to introduce u all d street food in Malaysia, d above r just some of d local fav for your indulgence.

And last not d least in this comment, is for u to visit some of d malls in KL. Like Singapore, Manila, Bangkok n Jakarta, KL has dozens of malls n many mega malls. Bukit Bintang is d area with many malls. If u feel d hot n humidity, then go into d malls with free air-conditioning, hehehe. D food courts in KL Pavilion, Lot 10 n Suria KLCC r quite lovely with variety of good food choices. If u have extra budget n want to feel natural cool air, then head to Genting Highlands, u can do an excursion trip from KL Sentral. It's an indoor n outdoor amusement themed park n d only legal casino in Malaysia. KLCC is very beautiful place esp d park n d night symphony fountain display at d back entrance of Suria KLCC fronting d KLCC park. And if u want to see d old historical buildings built by d British, visit Dataran Merdeka, d river of life area n its vicinity. There r plenty that KL has to offer for u guys. Hope all d above is not too much of info for one night, just to open up more opportunities for u to explore.

If you come to the city of Melaka and want to taste the difference of Nasi Lemak compared to what you have tasted, have breakfast at Teja Restaurant ( *Restoran Teja* ), Jalan Hang Tuah, Melaka ( morning only : 7.30 am to 9.00 am | Monday to Saturday ). Apart from the existing uniqueness, you can add side dishes and when to make a pay, tell the women or men in the counter that you came to their restaurant on my recommendation (say my name ---> Zaki) ☺️
