I love Not A Baking Show. FYI. I have been told, on numerous occasions, to never open the microwave when it’s running. It’s not bad for you but it is bad for the microwave’s door switches. As explained, “When the microwave is running the power for the microwave transformer runs through the door safety switch system. If the microwave is still running when you hit the door release the microswitches in the door latch system suddenly cut power to the transformer. When this occurs, there is a spark across the switch. Over time this may reduce the life of the switch.” And consequently, the life of your microwave.

Boxed brownies, even the standard ones, are probably the best low-effort baked dish. Especially at desired doneness. Crispy edges and a top that cracks when you push on it lightly.

Be careful melting butter in the microwave, the longer it is in the microwave ( like melted and boiled) the more salty it will taste, if you heat it up again it will be even more salty.

Not a brownie fan, cake,cookies and pies i love though. Chocolate cream pie, Carrot cake, and Peanut Butter cookies are my favorites. Brownies always tasted like uncooked cake to me. I have a really easy 3 ingredient Peanut butter cookie id love to see you two prepare. 😊

Duncan Hines used to be here in Ohio, then Coonagra purchased it.... I'm not as keen on it now. But still SEEM to be holding up standards, at least in taste.

Brownies are finger food, more of a bar than a cake so don't worry about the fork. In fact eating them with a fork is far more weird than not :p

I had to wait till I baked my brownies first then watch this,lol. Not the same as yours,and yours looks SO good. Mine was just a plain brownie mix from the shop. After I poured the mix in to the pan, I put on top, a few blobs of peanut butter and swirled it through the top of brownie mix. It turns a plain brownie mix in to something a little better. =-D

That far North in winter the days are shorter so, you know, the hours and minutes are correspondingly shorter. Tricky conversion.
