First Time Using MSR XGK™ EX Stove & JETBOIL-1.5L FluxRing Cook Pot

This is not a review, as this is the first time I have fired up this brand new MSR XGK™ EX Stove with the additional brand new JETBOIL - 1.5L Ceramic FluxRing Cook Pot Carbon - Pot. MSR recommends to practice using this stove in a safer environment before going up to the mountains. Two fold really; 1. To make sure there is no manufacturer fault within the apparatus and 2. To become well versed in the stoves usage and technique. It may seem a lot of procedures involved compared to a cannister stove; yet these stoves are used by those experts on expeditions in the harshest of climates and are known not to let you down as long as you keep up with the maintenance.
The stove with the pump fits snugly within the JETBOIL pot! Nice and compact!
Both of these products purchased by myself, and a personal preference for the environments I will be using them in, mainly mountain, high altitude in sub zero conditions!
