They have a choreographer, who works with them from the beginning, but J Hope learns very quickly and ends up being their "monitor" in rehearsals, before performances and knows when they make mistakes, etc. Each member is multi-talented. Suga was working as a deliveryman during training and got knocked off his bike. His operation to help his shoulder injury was only relatively recent he coped with intense shoulder pain whilst dancing. He actually enjoys dancing when it doesnt hurt.

J Hope is out of the militairy in less than 30 days. He did exceptionally well in the militairy. Promoted twice early. Comes out as a seargeant with elite soldier status. He was an assistant drill instructor and teams he led won internal army competitions. Luckily HOBI was forced to face every fear and phobia in RUN BTS. After graduating from Run BTS the members were used to working as a team, exhausted, humiliated, and staying positive despite incomprehensible instructions.

All 7 of the member's are Song writers, Composers and Producers each to a greater or lesser extent. The 3 Rappers are out of the seven member are the most prolific. The also use in house producers just as Bang PD, PDogg and Le Captixn or whoever any of them want to work with.

You mention that you were interested in learning more about BTS’ fictional storyline that runs through their albums. All I can say is be careful what you wish for. The B.U. (Which stands for Bangtan Universe) is not for the faint of heart. The B.U. Consists of certain music videos (marked B.U.) short films, short stories, trailers and other content. Honestly you might have to be a rocket scientist to understand everything that is happening because there is so much symbolism and so many metaphors. But basically there are 7 friends. Each of them have very messed up lives. RM’s character’s family is poor and they have to live in a shipping container. Jin watches the girl he loves get hit by a car and die while he’s holding a bouquet of Smeraldo flowers that he picked for her. When J-Hope’s character was little his mom took him to an amusement park, handed him a snickers bar and told him to wait there and then she abandoned him. Suga’s house caught on fire and his mom died. V’s father beats him and his mother (he eventually ends up killing his father in the I need you music video), Jungkook’s character is being badly bullied and beat up, and I forget Jimin’s backstory, but it has to do with water. The only time the friends are happy and carefree is when they are together. Eventually most of them end up either dying or going to prison, and Jin has to go back in time to save them. This creates multiple time lines that make the B.U. even more confusing. But hopefully now if you run across a music video that is marked for B.U. content you will at least have the faintest inkling of what might possibly be going on.

I think the word you are talking about is 네가 (pronounced Knee Gah) it means “Your” although sometimes it can also be used as “You” as in “Hey you” so it’s a pretty common word in songs. I always worry about that a little bit with people just discovering Kpop, especially in the rapping because I’m afraid it will be misunderstood.

BTS does have choreographers, but J Hope reinforces the training of the choreographers. Suga was recruited as a producer and rapper, but all the guys have learned to produce now.

Naega/naegu means you/I in korean. I'm assuming thats the word you are referring to. BTS never use the N-word. Oh and Jungkook was actually 13 (15 Korean age) when he joined and 15 (17 Korean age) when he debuted. They had their own age system when this video was made but have recently converted to international age. 💜
