The blacking out of the middle fingers is because TV shows with a PG rating are legally required to censor those things otherwise the network gets hit with fines by the FCC. WWE use to have a TV-14 rating and that's when more adult themes were allowed. But WWE is so intent on appealing to children that they refuse to let go of that PG rating.

The problem with the house show one is that WWE is known for doing silly shit at house shows, so we have no real way of knowing whether the tables not breaking was a running joke or legit.

I remember my only WWE show i went in 2009. Main Event CM Punk vs Undertaker in a casket match. Punk didn't get in the ring at his entrance and made like 8 or 9 slow laps around the ring, because he was so scared and didn't want the Undertaker to come out. "This fire burns" went two times through and started a third time. Such a heel move to stall the Main Event like that after 3 hours of show.

I think the reason WWE tries to keep it PG as much as they can is because of sponsorships. Nowadays sponsors are really rigid with the idea of appealing to all ages and they ditch at the first sign of controversy. Just look at how Slim Jim reacted to Vince McMahon's allegations. WWE is able to secure the best sponsors of the whole wrestling business because of being PG. In the Attitude Era WWE barely had any sponsors because of how wild it was. Back then WWE survived by attendance and merch selling alone, nowadays what keeps the flow going are mostly the sponsorships.

No one can force them down on top of their head while doing a Flatliner sort of move like they can if they don't release them from the front facelock while doing a DDT. You'd have to be doing it yourself, likely because you thought they were going for a flipping move, like a backflip sort of STO or something.

I don't think viewership would drop off if they went TV14 again, but advertisers might. Which is freaking stupid. They'll put sponsorships on the mat for UFC fights, and product placement in hyperviolent action movies, but pull it from choreographed sports entertainment for showing a little color and KZbin videos for having too much bad language. It seems likely that they are gonna go back to the older style with swearing and blood and shit (not literally I hope VINCE) with the Netflix deal starting in 2025. No longer being beholden to TV advertisers. The Rock had a promo recently where he just dropped a full on F bomb on one of his social medias something like "This is for the Cody Cry babies: Off is the fuck you can go" No chance he's able to say that Pre-Netflix deal. I'll probably watch some more of it if they do, It'd be pretty cool

@@AdamCouser What I mean is.. I didn't watch because there was too many people reacting to wrestling move compilations & Family Guy compilations. (I'm sorry if you took offense by my comment). I stopped consistently watching that type of content two years ago, I keep seeing your YT channel pop up but after subscribing to those channels, didn't want to burn myself out on another. Some channels I've subscribed to just react to the wrestling compilations then move on to something else, not getting invested. That's when I stop watching. But if you're at least stay consistent just watching Botchamania (for a start) then I'll be inclined to sign a subscription to your channel.
