According to Sacha Baron Cohen, Harrison Ford is in the only scene that was scripted, and was the only actor that was in on the joke.

For real! The amount of real stuff that SBC has been barred/banned for is insane! Its like a prank film plus a regular comedy. Like a truly guerilla film lmfao Edit, some things are scripted, like the court scene in a "movie" because they would never release the film to a filmmaker on some camera angles. Like the paula abdul scene is like the Eric Andre show- where its notified that everything is filmed like an actual production, but the guest is unaware of whats going to go on in the interview. FOR EXAMPLE LOOK AT THE PAUL VS GIULIANNI SCENES!! also also It like SBC rides the line between Filmmaker/Documentarian/SocialExperiement/Journalism/Comedian all at the same time. Literally becoming the best and worst person ever.

Oh my God, just finished watching Bruno for the first time and I am just lost for words! This movie is completely outrageous and takes shock value to a whole new level. Sacha Baron Cohen's performance as Bruno is downright insane but also hilarious. From the very beginning, I knew this movie was going to be over-the-top, but I had no idea it would be this wild. The scenes he gets himself into, the inappropriate and uncomfortable situations he creates, and the reactions of the people around him are just mind-boggling. I found myself cringing and laughing at the same time throughout the entire movie. Some scenes were so inappropriate and offensive, yet I couldn't help but admire how fearless and committed Sacha Baron Cohen was to this character. He completely immersed himself into Bruno's flamboyant personality, and it was hard to believe that this was all improvised. But beyond all the shock value and outrageousness, there were moments that actually made me think. The satirical commentary on fame, sensationalism, and the obsession with beauty and fame in our society is present throughout the film. It made me reflect on how easily we are manipulated and influenced by the media and how desperate some people can be to achieve fame at any cost. Overall, Bruno is not a movie for the easily offended or faint of heart. It pushes boundaries and challenges societal norms in the most provocative way possible. But if you are able to look past the shock value, you'll find a clever critique of our society's obsession with image and fame, wrapped in a hilariously outrageous package.

Not so fun fact. Of all the places Sacha Baron Cohen has visited in character, he felt the most unsafe in the deep south at that wrestling match where he started kissing another man. He literally felt safer in the Middle East dressed the way he was than in the Southern United States.

I haven't watched Bruno, so I paused the video and looked it up before watching your reaction and it was hilarious! But eventually, since the today's show scene, it made me more and more sad how people were disgusted for the fact of him being Gay, not much because of him being cringe. The last scene with Lutz in the ring made me so happy then! they were so brave to do it and I think Sacha always looks up for the essentially good sweet ending, of course surrounded by all the irony.
