I remember when the first trailer came out, that shot of McQueen coming into frame in slow motion as he crashes. I also love that they didn't have McQueen becoming faster and continue to race, but instead settle down and help train the next generation and pass on what he learned from Doc.

well actually McQueen still races, at the end of cars he says hes going to keep racing and just coach Cruz for the remainder of the season. If you watch the roadtrip tv show they made in 2022 mcqueen even mentions how they're both racers and hes no longer cruz's coach.

Yeah but part of that was stupid though because I remember the entire trailer was about his wreck and then when the movie came out it was only given like 10 seconds of screen time.

I got emotional when the Rust-eze brothers told Lightning they sold their company because he needed something they couldn't give him. It just sounded so much like parents who sacrifice so much to give their child a better life. Lightning was lucky to have multiple, great parental figures in his life, with both the Rust-eze brothers and Doc! It's so fitting by the end when "the son becomes the father..", and Lightning becomes to Cruz, what others were for him.

I love this movie so much. It went back to being a simple story about racing. So much emotion and so much enjoyment from this one. That ending scene where he's representing the Dinoco owners for Rusteze and has Doc's paint color, always gives me chills. This movie is actually so true for what racing is today. Analytics have completely changed the game

Love the history used in this movie. Theres an extra feature going in depth on their research, but having the old racers based on irl racers (junior moon VOICED by his irl counterpart), them being moonshining rumrunners before, the old tracks, just auuughhhh so good

No doubt Cars 3 is a brilliant movie. But the main Cars franchise was about Lightning McQueen and in the end not seeing him win was a disappointment for me... Also many of the fans wanted McQeen to win the final race by himself and not by Cruz

Lightning McQueen is the GOAT and it isn't a question. Loved the OG cars film as a kid and this film really shows how hard it can be for great athletes to come to terms with the end of their career and they must decide what new passion the want to pursue Coaching was a great choice for lightning.

Cars 1 coming out was the biggest thing for me as a kid and went to see it in the theaters and had bunch of the toy cars. Seeing this movie when I was older was nice, I felt was kinda sad about what happens to McQueen when 11 years before I was the biggest fan. But at the end everything turned out great :) I love that he went back to learn from Doc's mentors and then realizing that he could become a manager instead of trying to catch up with the new generation, the same stuff Doc probably went through.

when i first watched this film, it was a surprising scene to see Chick Thunder coming back to Cars 3 after being away from Cars 1 and being not around from Cars 2 and finally hes back into it, which really gives a nostalgia back in Cars 1. a great final movie to send it off, now Planes. they need to add 2 more movies till its finale just the love they got. or even they could get more out of this. older cars like....behold what im gonna tell you is true and sad into the story comic. Chick thunder used to be a kind, happy and helpful guy, till his Father told him that helping others are For Losers. this changed Chick Thunder and his entire happy personality was Gone forever and forever a mean Car. yes you can search this up and its a comic page of it.

honestly if you really do like the cars movies you'd probably enjoy planes too. Second planes movie is my favorite because of how much more unique and beautiful it is. First planes movie is like they gave us the cars 2 movie like it should have been. I honestly recommend them both. And I know a lot of people hate them and think they are just re-doing cars but they aren't there are subtle differences even tho some things are obviously just kinda re-vamping things from cars. But I still think it has a charm to them. And Ill say it again, second one is better in my eyes because the first one is actually a little too much like the cars movies but still gave me back some of that lost racing i feel we lost out on in cars 2. Second one is just unique and amazing in my eyes.

One of the hardest questions I get asked about this franchise is which is my favourite of the three. It’s harder for me than it seems. For me this one is my favourite of the bunch. The first one is the most nostalgic and has the best jokes, while this one has the best story, character development, and emotional moments. Like I said, I’m my opinion, this one is the best of the three.
