I'm so excited for this! Hannibal is my favorite show of all time. I had avoided it initially because I thought no one could top Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter. How wrong I was! Mads Mikkelsen is perfection in this role. This show is a masterpiece.

Hannibal does things, plays with or manipulates people partly because it amuses him and partly because he wants to see what will happen, how people will behave when he pushes them in a certain direction. It’s one way he stays interested in us humans, us lesser mortals. He usually only acts out of malice when he feels he’s been disrespected or a person has been deliberately rude to him.

I feel like you missed the fact that the lungs Hannibal was preparing were *human* lungs. Which he then fed to Will in his protein scramble.

Thank you! It's the way he said the words "I don't even know...". The way and pace in which he strung the words together made his accent slip to me.

I hope you will continue the show! It seems like a detective investigation show at first, it's really not. The mask comes off later on this season but I've seen people get into it for the detective work, and it's really not about that. There won't be any evidence or red herrings or investigations in the way police shows usually do it. The visions, the dreams, the conversations etc will only increase, so get ready for some weird sh!t. 😁 So yeah, two different killers. The show kind of assumes you already know that Hannibal is a killer and a cannibal. Hannibal who kills "pigs" by taking their lungs while they're still alive, and then eats them, and Hobbs who loves his victims and wants to keep them close.

I am going to continue watching. It sort of reminded me of Criminal Minds. I'm looking forward to seeing how the show progresses. I didn't get that Hannibal was the copycat until someone else told me. It's definitely an interesting show.
