Glad at the time that I was old enough to really appreciate this and be a baller who understood the game and watched/ dissected like every game period. Even went to the Home court to watch their playoff games that were away games on the giant monitors with other fans! To top that, It was free! Also, my team at the time got to have our final game on the King's court and use their locker rooms before the game and got to see them warm up and get autographs and stuff. Good memories...I recommend going back to watch some of those games or seasons.

He's from West Virginia and played high school ball with Randy Moss, imagine going up against that in high school

Could just be nostalgia/time/place, but personally, J-Dubs style and flare is #1 for me.

Florida has nowhere near the best hoopers and neither does NY. Ny been fell off in bball for decades. I can barely name any nba players from NY today. Lol. Chicago and LA been the top hooping spots for the last 3 decades. And I’d say North Carolina and Toronto are better than florida too. Florida definitely got some hoopers but nah. Lol

You should definitely watch more extensive passing highlights of him, he played every game like it was an all-star game

Also, he inspired me with his deep af 3 pointers! He was an all-around BEAST!

@5:15: potentially the nastiest combo ever! The quick succession of these plays is almost unfathomable! The chance of replicating this scenario again is exceedingly small. P.S.- side note: i was born and raised right outside Sacramento and was a huge King's fan (mainly for J-Dub and crew) and an avid baller at the time. I looked to Williams for tips on dribbling and ball handling because he was the epitome of it for me at the time. I went to training camps where some of the King's (including Williams) taught, and he had us put weighted wrist bands on and fabric gloves. After training with those on, you could almost immediately feel the level of control and "stickiness" of the ball to your hands (pause)! Also, I had an interesting run in a few years later when a connect/friend at the time had to re-up, and I happened to be with him. He would usually go alone. It was a huge mansion in this elite gated subdivision a few miles up the street from where I live called Los Lagos, which at the time was resident to many Hollywood star/Pro Athletes. (It was a newer place that many stars sought out for its location and relative obscurity). Anyways, come to find out we had been smokin' the same Canibus Cup strain as half the King's team, lol! Jason was there with Webber and Bobby Jackson! Of course, I played it cool and didn't fan boy out. We got our sack, took a few drags off what they were smokin' and bounced, but it was a good memory none the less! (This would've been around 2000 or 2001). If I recall, the strain was a Blueberry Kush that was super popular/potent then and readily available here. Gotta love being so close to Humboldt County! There was also a strain called Red Dragon, i recall getting from that same dealer, which was almost completely red! Man, my connects were so much better back then, lol! Plus, it's not always easy to find those older strains now. This area is weird. Ran into Jean Claude Van Dam at Welsfargo Bank once in the 90s and chased Michael Jordan in a car from a golf course to a swanky steak house in an attempt to get an autograph, lol! His driver literally tried to lose us by swerving across lanes, making a sudden turn, lol! Anyways, hope you don't mind me recanting a few memories. Peace. (And try those dribbling exercises with mittens and like 1-3 pound wrist weights, and you'll feel like Super Saiyan Goku (or at least Kaio-Kenx10) when you remove them, lol!)

After watching Jwill i would put on leather work gloves and ankle weights on my wrist and do ball handling drills for about 10 minutes. After taking off the gloves and weights the ball would stick to my hands like glue. Jason used to do that for hours everyday.

All i can say is behind the back pass is the most difficult for the opponents.they didn't even move or predict where he was passing..

I always loved that Gary just looked at him and smiled! He respected that Jason could get one past him, and that is appreciation for the sport itself!

He wasn't the best. But he will always be my favorite player. He was more entertaining than anyone! His handles, his passing, amazing court awareness, ambidexterity, speed, and pure style on the court are peerless! Like I said, he wasn't the best, but he was the most entertaining! Who else in the entire NBA has MULTIPLE 20 to 30 minute highlights of just PASSES? Not even Magic, Bird, Stockton, Kidd, or Nash have even ONE, much less many...

My book? J.Will is #1 for flashy-creativity/ #5 handles/ #4 passing/ Elbow pass is easier than it looks. Everyone just does it wrong.. You don't SWING your whole arm around in a half-circle. Think more like it's shooting motion with a cue stick in pool. Your forearm is the cue stick you aim with, pop it STRAIGHT thru the ball. My PG I used to run with got to where he could throw me oops off the elbow, with pinpoint accuracy.

Remember, that pass at 2:26 was past John Stockton, by far the best in NBA history for steals. He was just a bit out of position, and the pass was absolutely perfectly placed. White Chocolate was one of my favorites!!
