Imagine realizing that, as a Father, you are the bad guy in your son's story. I would feel like the biggest failure as a parent, at that moment.

The Lego Batman Movie actually takes place in between The Lego Movie and Lego Movie 2 btw If you remember, there's a scene in The Lego Batman Movie where they explain what'll happen if the Joker's bombs break the city in half and how there's an endless abyss beneath them, they also show a small clip of Emmet falling into the endless abyss while he's strapped to the battery in that scene There's also a small nod to The Lego Batman Movie in Lego Movie 2
