8:52 - You are absolutely right; this scene was very traumatizing as a child. As a matter of fact- most of this movie was traumatizing. It unsettles me DEEPLY to this day. It gives off MAJOR uncanny valley vibes. It's unsettling in a similar way to stuff like Lazy Town, James and the Giant Peach, or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I love this movie. This movie taught everybody lessons about honesty, responsibility, making up for your mistakes, paid attention what's going on around you, and getting your priorities straight. Most important lesson is you had to know when enough is enough. I love Cat planning all along to teach Conrad and Sally lessons whole entire time.

Ok so two things 1. The film’s message shows a little bit of responsibility, trust, and honesty. Cat taught Conrad that he shouldn’t go crazy, and understand when he’s gone too far. Cat taught Sally that she shouldn’t be as bossy, and to loasen up a bit. 2. The two best words to describe this film: FEVER DREAM
