As a kid growing up with the OG Batman movies with Michael Keaton, the Dark Knight Trilogy stole my heart in my late teens into my 20s. This ending always draws emotions. Like you said Batman always is a symbol of hope. Through all the pin and suffering he finds the strength to push on. Great job on reacting to this trilogy. I love this adaptation of Bane and the League. I like how Nolan handles super human abilities as well, see his version is just Humans who have pushed their bodies to the brink and appear to be almost unreal to those they encounter. You guys are awesome, and I'm not gonna lie, I was getting kind of choked up at the way homegirl reacted at 44:42 -- I got the feeling that it might've hit a nerve. I'm grateful for this reaction in either case. You know, I've been a Batman fan for a really long time - I know people who think that these are Christopher Nolan's only movies without big plot twists in them, and this reaction proves otherwise. Just because I came into these movies from day one knowing that : 1 - Ra's Al Ghul doesn't like to die, 2 - that Harvey Dent is Two-Face, and 3 - that Ra's Al Ghul has daughters, not sons, doesn't mean that there aren't really good plot twists here. It's extremely heartwarming watching those emotional beats pay off, thank you both. On a completely unrelated note - what did you guys think of that 2017 Lionsgate Power Rangers movie? Also - the DCEU Batman isn't terrible, but "The Batman" is a much easier-to-swallow time commitment for what's arguably a better story than even The Dark Knight.
