Vicky, if you remember in A New Hope, when the droids crash land on Tatooine, C-3PO walks by a skeleton of a krayt dragon, and in Attack Of The Clones, the “pets” of the Tuskens were shown at the camp before Anakin slaughtered them. Also, remember Obi-Wan tells Luke that they ride single file, in order to hide their numbers, which they show here.

Timothy Olyphant's character was first seen in the first Aftermath novel which was released in the lead up to The Force Awakens and shows how he got Boba's armor. 4:52 It is. Vicky - If someone hasn't mentioned it, the red/white R2 unit at the start is the R2 that went bad in Star Wars A New Hope, the one with that 'Bad Motivator" that Luke pointed out to Uncle Owen, and R2D2 was substituted for it. Near every episode has callbacks and easter eggs galore. A BIG reason why the show is so well-loved

Back with a bang, and a lot of sneaky easter eggs For instance; the R4 unit is the same one that blew up when Uncle Owen bought it and C3PO, allowing R2D2 to be brought to Skywalker Ranch The Krayt Dragon was a level in the Old Republic games, the Pearl is one of the rare rewards you can get for besting it, as well as proof of bravery for Tusken cultures. The pearl can also be used to power lightsabers and the return of an old character, but you didn't recognize him at the end, which is fair enough you don't see his face a lot in his previous role.

Except we know he didn't(those of us long into the lore know WHY(both in universe, and in our reality)). That she missed it, will make the "reveal" later on more impactful, and if you are as into the universe as you claim to be, should know that. It's not "gatekeeping", as you so quaintly put it, it's "helping to preserve the surprise" of the reveal. When Boba approached Fenick Shan, did you announce his appearance THEN? If not, then why now? Yeah, we were given every clue in the world, except a face reveal. Since she didn't connect the dots, let her find out naturally, is all I'm saying.

Hey, Vicky! This was a phenomenal kick-off to the season with several Easter Eggs and a HUGE, HUGE reveal! Here's some helpful info on episode 9, "The Marshal": Those were pig-faced Gamorreans vibroaxe-fighting in the ring! You've previously seen the porcine species serving as guards in Jabba's palace in "Return of the Jedi". The Abyssin who double-crossed Din at the fighting den was played by John Leguizamo! Amy Sedaris reprises her role as Peli Motto, the Mos Eisley mechanic with her "Phantom Menace" pit droid crew. The old astromech, R5, in Motto's garage is the same one the Jawas passed off to Uncle Owen with the bad motivator in "A New Hope"! It still has the scorch marks around the motivator port! Luke told his uncle about the lemon he'd purchased and suggested Artoo instead at Threepio's urging. The rest is history! Timothy Olyphant of "Deadwood" and "Justified" shows up as Cobb Vanth, a live-action iteration of a character from the "Aftermath" trilogy of novels! He uses a repurposed turbine from Anakin's podracer in "Phantom Menace" as a jerry-rigged landspeeder! He wears the Mandalorian ARMOR OF BOBA FETT purchased from Jawas! Over the course of the animated "Clone Wars", you witness young Boba grow to manhood. In a story arc that never got completed, Boba takes down the series' top bounty hunter, Cad Bane, receiving a BLASTER DENT to his helmet that is visible in the movies and this episode at 3:42. That duel confers upon him the title of the most dreaded bounty hunter in the galaxy! I hope Filoni gets an opportunity to show us that story at some point either animated or live. We see there are multiple uses of the gaffi stick the Tuskens carry as weapons! One raider was using the blunt end to clean his bantha's teeth! Din conversed with Tuskens before using sign in Episode 5 but, apparently, he's fluent enough in Sandpeople lingo to broker a truce between the Mos Pelgo townsfolk and the local Tusken tribe to mount a hunt against a KRAYT DRAGON! This creature is so fearsome it EATS SARLACCS for supper and burrows in the empty pits they leave behind! The Tuskens recover a KRAYT PEARL! Krayt dragons swallow rocks which sometimes contain precious gems. The rocks get lodged in the gizzard and serve to pulverize food undergoing a great deal of friction over time that exposes the gems and rounds them into spheres much like a grain of sand accumulating accretions that are rounded into pearls within oysters. Fragments of such pearls can be used as substitutes for kyber crystals in lightsabers while intact pearls are of IMMEASURABLE VALUE! The final revelation is of a mysterious robed figure armed with a rifle and a gaffi stick who bears the scarred and weathered face of none other than TEMUERA MORRISON who played clone template Jango Fett! This can only be Boba Fett himself as he is the only clone whose aging was unaccelerated! The Expanded Universe long established the dreaded bounty hunter had survived the Sarlacc but Disney just canonized it! BOBA FETT LIVES!!!!!

Would like to say that shovels can be use to great extent as a weapon in fact it was standard issue in the red army on ww2 and soldiers often sharpen the edges of the shovel and got themselves some force battle axes

Even modern day entrenching tools have one side that is sharpened, so they can be used to cut down small trees, etc. In a pinch, it can double as a weapon but its short reach isn't going to defeat someone with a rifle and bayonet at close range.
