Jane became The mighty Thor. When Steve used the hammer he was only able to use the powers of Thor because he was worthy of it. When Jane used the hammer it already have enchanted by Thor to protect her. So she was already worthy of hammer but instead of just giving her the powers of Thor it turned her body into a Thor to better protect her.

Steve was already Captain America. And he didn't want to step on any toes. That's why he didn't lift the hammer during Age of Ultron. He had no interest in being Thor.

This movie leaned WAY too hard on the ridiculousness instead of having a balance like Ragnarok had and the way they treated Gor was pretty disrespectful as most of his god butchering was done off screen. Bale’s performance was insanely well done and he deserved more screen time as he was easily the best part of the movie.

I try to remember this story of thor and jane is told by korg. We know korg is unintentionally humorous. People give this movie negative reviews because of the silliness. If you really think about it you'll see why the story seems silly.😊

If they wanted thor to get stormbreaker, he could have found it on sakar. Stormbreaker belonged to beta ray bill. It kinda looked like mjolnir, except it was kinda pinched off on one end making it a wedge. When thor lost mjolnir, he received Jarnbjorn, a great axe that's handle was made of the last living root from ygdrassil, the tree of life. It was way WAY cooler than stormbreaker and the axe that he got in the movie combined.

This was seen through the eyes of korg talking to children. Just like 300 was through Dilios. I thoroughly believe if a darker version seen through Thors eyes had been released later it would've been loved. I appreciate this movie for what it is, many didn't like this way of storytelling.

Okay so just a few things to help you understand better Mr. Video. 1) Odin's enchantment on Mjolnir allows anyone "worthy" to not only be able to wield the hammer but also gives them the Power of Thor; this means his lightning ability NOTHING ELSE. That's why Captain America wasn't any stronger than normal. Thor's Super Strength is HIS, NOT the hammer's 2) For this story, Thor enchanted Mjolnir to protect Jane even if they were apart. Because of this when Jane was in NEED of Mjolnir's protection it transformed her INTO Thor. Giving her ALL of his physical attributes and the ability to use Thor's powers. 3) Every video I've seen there are arguments in the comments about "why people seem to be able to lift Stormbreaker with no problems." That's because unlike Mjolnir Strombreaker was never enchanted for "ONLY WORTHY" people to use. as long as someone has the physical strength they can lift Stormbreaker. I also won't get into Stormbreaker and Mjolnir from the comics because that's just a whole other thing. but there you go.

I love Taika Waititi but I feel like he needs to be reigned in a little more on a Marvel project. Ragnarok was awesome, granted, but I feel like after that one they were like "okay Taika, just go wild, do whatever you want" ... and we got this hot mess. Goofy & cool is a nice blend to have, Ragnarok managed it perfectly, but this one they went way too far over to goofy and as a result none of the dramatic scenes feel like they have any weight at all, except maybe at the very very beginning when Gorr's daughter is dying..

Funny you should mention following the rules of KZbin.
